UPDATE: Work has gone far at Dangi Roundabout Underpass along Zaria Road by Zoo Road Junction. The N4.5Billion project which was initiated few months back by the adm of H.E @GovUmarGanduje is progressing steadily, is expected to be completed in February 2 months ahead of schedule

Sabratha vessel of Tripoli Coast Guard managed to rescue 40 illegal immigrants including Nigerians,  from the Mediterranean while on their way to Europe. The rescue operation took place on Saturday north of the city of Zuwara, the Libyan Navy Information Office said. An American woman in Zimbabwe has been jailed for 'insulting' President Robert Mugabe by allegedly tweeting an image of him which suggested he has a catheter from an anonymous account which was still active as she languished behind bars on Saturday. Martha O'Donovan, 25, was arrested on Friday morning at her home near Harare, the country'scapital, and was taken into custody on a charge of insulting or undermining the president and trying to overthrow an elected government.Police say that on October 11, O'Donovan tweeted that Mugabe, 93, is a 'very selfish and sick man' and claimed that he was surviving on a catheter. They claim they traced the anonymous Twitter account @matigary, which allegedly posted thetweet, to her address through its IP address.On Saturday, O'Donovan was held in custody after a brief court hearing and she must now wait until November 15 to return to court.Her lawyers say they will appeal for her to be granted bail at the High Co...

A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours.
