Ugandan President Tells Miss World Africa To Stop Wearing Indian Hair. See Reactions

Ugandan President Yoweri K Museveni took to social media and encourage Miss World Africa, Abenakyo to stop wearing wig after appreciating her beauty. He wrote on twitter with caption;

Abenakyo is indeed a tall, beautiful Musoga girl. My only concern is that she was wearing Indian hair. I have encouraged her to keep her natural, African hair. We must show African beauty in its natural form.

Victims of domestic violence to enjoy paid leave in New Zealand

Victims of domestic violence in New Zealand will now be allowed to take up to 10 days paid leave from work to try to escape the abuse. This is part of a scheme to address the nation’s "shocking" levels of family violence.  Introducing the scheme, which is the first in the developed world, Greens MP Jan Logie, a member of the ruling Labour-led coalition, said the leave would help victims to move homes or settle children into new schools. She said it would also help to protect victims from abusers, who often stalked them at work or tried to sabotage their careers. "This is a win for victims, a win for employers, and a win for society," she said.  "This law is a world first and it will make a significant difference for people trying to escape domestic violence." Rapper Cassidy arrested for drug possession and outstanding warrants

Philadelphia rapper, Cassidy was on Sunday afternoon arrested for weed possession and outstanding warrants. The 35-year-old 'I'm A Hustler' rapper was busted in Jersey City when police spotted him in a vehicle, and noticed a strong marijuana smell from inside the car, TMZ reported According to a police report, officers discovered there was a joint sitting in clear view on the dashboard. They also found a baggie of weed and a grinder, typically used to crush weed.Cassidy was booked for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The Law enforcement also revealed that they discovered that Cassidy has an outstanding warrant in another county for the exact same offenses. He would now be making two court appearances for the old and new charges.

Owners of the mansions seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have been unveiled. They are former governors, ex-ministers, top military officers and businessmen. Leading the pack is a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, who has forfeited some prized assets. Lost to the Federal Government by the ex-Minister are a multi-storey building in Banana Island Foreshore Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos; a real estate comprising six flats in Ikoyi and an estate of 21 mixed housing in Yaba, Lagos. Many properties allegedly linked with Diezani have also been placed under interim forfeiture by the anti-graft commission.
