Muslim Woman Decorates Pastor’s House Ahead Of Christmas In Kaduna

A Muslim woman decorated a Pastor’s house with Christmas trees, ahead of the Christian celebration in 2018.

Ramatu Tijjani, who is also said to be a peace ambassador and interfaith professional mediator in Kaduna state, decorated the residence of Pastor Yohanna Buru, the general overseer of Christ Evangelical Church Sabon Tasha ahead of Christmas.

The Muslim woman decorated the Pastor’s house with light, wreaths, stockings and ornaments, and according to her, this was to strengthen peaceful co-existence and a better understanding of different faiths among citizens of Nigeria.

“I observed that the Christmas tree is very vital to the life of every Christian all over the world, and that is why I bought it to decorate the pastor’s house, as a sign of promoting unity, togetherness and to wish all Christians worldwide the best of the season and happy new year in advance, Mrs Tijjani said.

Ramatu who disclosed that Muslims and Christians are children of Adam and Eve who believe in One God and have holy books they believe in, urged people to support each other and live in peace and harmony.

The Pastor who thanked Ramatu Tijani for donating the Christmas trees, new wrappers and food to the Christian needy, said;

“Ramatu is the first woman who used her money to donate many things to churches, widows and orphans.”

'Rambo' suspect Yves Rausch held in Black Forest after five-day hunt

German police have arrested a suspected gunman nicknamed "Rambo" after a five-day manhunt in the Black Forest. Yves Rausch, 31, is said to have fled into the forest near Oppenau, in south-west Germany, on Sunday after threatening four police officers and taking their pistols. An elite unit, helicopters, thermal detectors and sniffer dogs had been deployed to find him. After his arrest, officers seized four firearms, according to a statement. A postal worker gave police information which helped lead to his arrest and one person was injured during the operation, Germany's Bild daily is reporting. The FBI has launched an investigation after hackers hijacked Twitter accounts of a number of high-profile US figures in an apparent Bitcoin scam. "The accounts appear to have been compromised in order to perpetuate cryptocurrency fraud," said the bureau, urging the public to be vigilant.
