Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has identified the late former military Head of State, Sani Abacha, as the biggest thief in world history, stating that 21-years after, more loots linked to the former dictator were still being uncovered. Omokri was responding to the claim by Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, that Northerners are rarely arrested for advance fee fraud, popularly known in local parlance as Yahoo Yahoo. A Nigerian woman and her kids were forced to sleep outside the Nigerian embassy in Berlin, after a long journey from Munich to renew their passports. In the viral video shared, a man was heard saying in the background that the Nigerian ambassador left the stranded woman and her kids outside after they arrived at night. One of the kids who was quite uncomfortable with the sleep-spot, was also spotted crying. The authorities at the Nigerian embassy in Germany, are however yet to react to the video which has gone viral on social media. 

A 32-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested in Hyderabad, India for allegedly cheating a woman in the pretext of marrying her. Alionyem Bright from Delta State contacted the woman introducing himself as Basim Karim from United Kingdom and showed interest in marrying her. He then told her he is coming to India soon with some foreign currency and gifts. However, the next day the woman received fake calls claiming that Basim was arrested in Delhi by the custom officials and asked her to pay Rs 16.3 lakh. According to the police, the fake customs officials had collected a total of Us 16.3 lakh from her on the pretext of taxes and other expenditure. The woman later realised that she was cheated and approached the police.

Her friend visited her and went to the fridge and got a huge Cucumber and started eating while demanding for groundnuts for better combinations. The actress, Patienceyisa, asked her whether she got it from the fridge, she said yes. Her expression at this time was something else. The actress tried to tell her why she shouldn't have eaten the Cucumber and warned her not to eat Cucumber in her house without asking her first. At that moment, her friend went and vomited everything. But we could not ascertain why she didn't want her to eat that particular Cucumber, it could be that it's spoilt or special to her. Kano State Hisbah Board has launched a manhunt on a couple who reportedly got married through Facebook, BBC Hausa has reported. DAILY NIGERIAN reports that one Sunusi Abdullahi, a 29-year-old man from Kano State was said to have tied the knot with a lady via Facebook, with user name bearing Zainabu Abu, from Maiduguri, Borno State. Mr Abdullahi, also known as Sunusi General, bearing Facebook username as Gen Sunus, told BBC Hausa that he jokingly proposed to marry the lady, not knowing that the matter would be a big issue. “It all started from normal Facebook conversation together with other friends. She just proposed to me that I should marry her which I obliged. “After a while, she sent me a private message, informing me about the marriage that she even found a representative who would stand for her for the marriage.
