Introducing The 2017 Lamborghini Terzo Millennio (photos)

One year ago, Automobili Lamborghini started a collaboration with the MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology - to pioneer the future of sports cars and rewrite the rules.Today, an important step forward has been made in this regard: Lamborghini has just unveiled “Terzo Millennio” at EmTech MIT Conference, a new design concept about the future of the super sports cars.

The prototype is on display for EmTech MIT attendees and the MIT community.This visionary concept physically imagines design and technology of tomorrow through a possible future Lamborghini electric super sports car, which aims to deliver the most emotional and ultimate driving experience.

To plan its path, Automobili Lamborghini defines the requirements of the third millennium in terms of energy storage and innovative materials, aiming to lead them to a radical innovation in collaboration with two laboratories of the MIT: the “Dinca Research Lab”, led by Prof. Mircea Dinca, Department of Chemistry, and the “Mechanosynthesis Group”,led by Prof. Anastasios John Hart, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to the energy storage systems and the innovative materials for the vehicle’s body, Lamborghini also aims to address the future ofthe super sports cars in the powertrain and vehicle architecture, in the sound and emotion, while sustaining the visual appeal and the breathtaking performance.It is about creating new concepts to shape the future of sports cars, facing what is impossibletoday to shape the reality of tomorrow. This design concept sets the path to realize this vision and marks the first step towards a future electric super sports car.

Lamborghini Terzo Millennio is radical in the energy management and in the body and extreme in the architecture and design, in line with both Lamborghini culture and a third millennium which requires new concepts, innovative solutions and the adoption of electrified powertrains.

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. Operatives of the Inspector General of Police (IG) Intelligence Response Team (IRT) have arrested a notorious Boko Haram Commander, Abdulmalik Umar, at a nurse's home where he was receiving treatment for a bullet wound in Lagos yesterday December 20th. According to the police, the suspect masterminded the explosions at Nyanya and Kuje in Abuja in 2015, as well as several bank robberies in Ondo, Edo and other southern states. He fled to Abuja three weeks ago when some of his gang members were apprehended. A police source who confirmed the arrest, disclosed that the nurse, who is said to be Umar’s sister, and her husband were also arrested for aiding and abetting criminality. “He was the one who brought all  the bombs they used during the Nyanya and Kuje attacks in 2015. Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported. Nigerian Man Hospitalized In US After Entering Plane For First Time & Was Tied

A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours. Kenyan Man Attacked By Hippopotamus, Loses Both Legs

Man loses both legs in hippo attack in Kenya. There is rising cases of human-wildlife conflicts in Naivasha, where wild animals have been straying out of their natural habitats in search of pasture and water. Doctors have amputated the legs of a man who was attacked by a hippo in Lake Naivashaat the weekend. The doctors said cutting off both legs under the knees was the only way to save the life of the father of two. The amputation came amid concerns over rising cases of human-wildlife conflicts in the town. Naivasha is home to two major national parks and several animal sanctuaries. Wild animals have been straying out of their natural habitatsin search of pasture and water, especially following the prolonged drought. In the latest case, three men were attacked by a herd of hippos in Kasarani and Oserian. One died and the others were seriously injured.
