Nigerian Football Legend, Kanu Nwankwo is currently touring some Asian Countries with fellow EPL Legends. 

Some of the pictures shared on his social media platform shows him and former Pompey and England goalkeeper, James, and Liverpool Lift-back, John Riise and Weston all happy to see him. 

Kanu is the most decorated Nigerian Footballer who has been involved in a lot of Charity work including his foundation (Kanu Heart Foundation) and the Giving-back Project for Nigerian communities.

Woman commits suicide by throwing herself before a train with her 3-year-old daughter in her arms after being abused by husband (video)

A 24-year-old woman, who was allegedly harassed by her husband, ended her life by throwing herself before a local train at Bhayandar railway station, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, with her three-year-old daughter clutched in her arms. The woman identified as Renuka Pintu came to Bhayandar railway station in the intervening night of August 2 and August 3 and stood at the Churchgate-end of platform number four with her daughter, Arohi, in her arms, the police said. Immediately after she saw a train approaching, Renuka got off the platform and lied over the tracks, holding her daughter close to her. Before the motorman could apply brakes, one coach of the train had passed over her and her daughter. The two were rushed to hospital but were declared dead on arrival. Herdsmen have killed two of the policemen drafted to keep surveillance on the troubled Logo Local Government Area of Benue State. Materials in a suitcase seized nearly three years ago by Swiss authorities may unlock the identities of the Nigerian recipients of the $1.1billion in corrupt payments by Shell and ENI over the purchase of OPL 245 from Malabu Oil. A Geneva prosecutor is now reviewing the materials and will decide what can be shared with Italian authorities, where some trials have begun in the monumental bribery scandal. The prosecutor received the green light after Switzerland’s top court, the Federal Tribunal, rejected an appeal by Nigerian defendant Emeka Obi to prevent his bag from being unsealed. FG Makes N909 Billion From VAT in 2017

Between October 2016 and September 2017, the federation account received a total inflow of N908.9bn in Value Added Tax receipts from the Federal Inland Revenue Service, figures obtained from the National Bureau of Statisticshave revealed.An analysis of the VAT report obtained from the NBS showed that the amount was collected from 28 sectoral activities during the period under review. A breakdown of the amount showed that the sum of N207.35bn was generated in the fourth quarter of 2016, while the first, second and third quarters of 2017 had N204.77bn, N246.3bn and N250.56bn, respectively. In the report signed by the Statistician General of the Federation and Chief Executive, NBS, Dr. Yemi Kale, the bureau said the manufacturing sector with N115.76bn generated the highest amount of VAT revenue. FBI Declares 6 Nigerians Wanted For $6 Million Fraud

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking assistance in finding six Nigerians who the United States indicted for fraud. The bureau took to its Twitter handle to solicit help in finding the six men who are wanted for “their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses”. “Help the #FBI find ​six Nigerian nationals wanted for their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses,” it wrote. It asked that tips on the matter should be submitted here.
