BUK Expels 22 Students For Examination Mal-practice

The University Senate has expelled twenty two (22) Postgraduate and Undergraduate students for examination misconduct, according to a statement signed by the University Examination Officer, Dr. Yusuf M. Mohammed for Registrar, Fatima Binta Mohammed.

The Senate at its 356th meeting held on Wednesday, 25th October, 2017 upon consideration of a Submission from Senate Committee on Examinations Misconduct and Leakages, approved as follows:-a) The following candidates were expelled for being involved in examination misconduct in accordance with category 4.2(Ai – Xi) and 19:17(Ai – Xi) of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies (GRGPS) and General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR):

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. US Airbase In Iraq Hit By Rockets from Iran

An airbase housing US and coalition troops in Iraq has been hit by rockets, according to US security sources. The Al-Asad base was reportedly hit by multiple rockets. It is unclear if there have been any casualties. It come after top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad on Friday, on the orders of US President Donald Trump. Man sues popular actor for ruining his life by showing his phone number in movie

A man has sued popular Bangladeshi movie star Shakib Khan, for ruining his life after he used his business phone number on-screen in one of Khan’s recent films.  The plaintiff, Ijajul Mia, who's an auto-rickshaw driver alleged that ever since the film launched, he has since been receiving phone calls from the actor’s female fan base, which caused significant disruption to his life. The movie, Rajneeti, was released on June 25, 2017.  In the movie, Khan who is one of the country’s highest acclaimed actors is seen and heard calling out a phone number, which is a common trope in Bangladeshi films.
