A former student of Makerere University Business School, Arthur Basalirwa, posted a screenshot from a WhatsApp chat, dedicated to a one ‘D” and it read; “Hi D. You will always ask yourself if you had sent me a more meaningful text. These are your last words to me. Goodbye D.” From the screenshots of the WhatsApp chat he shared, Basalirwa seemed to have undergone a rough breakup with his girlfriend. His friends say that he was planning his marriage, after visiting his fiance’s parents at a traditional Kukyala ceremony. Hours before that, Basalirwa posted to his Whatsapp a status note saying; “I am sorry but it’s too late, I’m sorry, too much weighing on me I don’t wanna live to see another day.” However, these cries for help went unnoticed, with only a simple ‘bambi’ as a comment from one of his friends, until hours later when others learnt about his sudden death. The Canadian government has sent a powerful message to the members of the Igbo community in the country. Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Honourable Ralph Goodale, wrote to the Cultural Association of Saskatchewan (ICAS) as they prepare to celebrate their Nigerian-Canadian heritage on August 3. Writing on behalf of Prime Minister Trudeau and the Government of Canada, Minister Goodale expressed pleasure to extend greetings to everyone who will be attending Igbo Day.

It has been reported that a Nigerian man has had a close brush with death this morning March 19th after something horrible happened to him. The man cheated death after he was stabbed multiple times by armed robbers in Anambra state. The victim was robbed and stabbed while going to work this morning at UNIZIK junction in Temp site, Awka, Anambra state. He was rushed to the hospital where he is currently responding to treatment. A man's penis snapped while having sex with his girlfriend and it made his male member swell to the size of a wine bottle. Sean Marsden, 48, was injured while making love to his girlfriend Louise Gray, 36. He says he heard a ‘crack’ after he slipped into the pelvis of his girlfriend. This left him writhing in pain that was ‘off the scale’. Sean knew instantly something was wrong and they dialled 999.
