Barrack Obama reveals his 2018 favourite songs, movies and books

Former US President Barack Obama has revealed his yearly favourite songs, movies and books and his wife Michelle Obama's book 'Becoming' was named number one on the list.
Some notable artists whose songs landed on his favourite music for 2018  are H.E.R., The Carters, Jay Rock, J. Cole, Janelle Monae, Normani with Khalid.
While on the list for movies, he listed, Black Panther, Annihilation, Burning, Eighth Gradeand Leave No Trace among others.
Sharing his year-end lists, Obama wrote: 'As 2018 draws to a close, I’m continuing a favorite tradition of mine and sharing my year-end lists. It gives me a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that I found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved. It also gives me a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers – some who are household names and others who you may not have heard of before. The Kano State Police Command confirmed onSaturday that three girls died of suffocation inside a parked car in Sabon Gari area of Kano metropolis. The car has been parked there for more than one year; the girls were playing around it and later locked themselves inside. Apparently, they could not open the door and there was no one around to assist them. Three of them died of suffocation while one survived,” Magaji Majiya, spokesman of the command, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).He said that the incident happened “around 3 p.m. on Friday”. Nigerian Cocaine Dealer Arrested In Bangkok

Thai police working with the US Drug Enforcement agency have arrested a Nigerian man who they say is an international drug dealer in cocaine. Emmanuel Okwudili Ilichukwu was arrested in Suksawat Soi 26 on two warrants on Thursday, February 22.A force led by deputy tourist police commissioner Surachet Hakpal raided his property where they found a quantity of ganja in a food cupboard. Surachet told the media that the Thais had been working with the DEA to arrest the Nigerian. He had been on their radar but managed to avoid capture before.He had made frequent trips from Bangkok to Nigeria and was involved in packaging cocainein plastic and hiding it in electrical appliances. The drugs found their way to Australia and New Zealand. He was using Bangkok as a base and also dealing drugs in the Thai capital. He has been charged with possession and intent to distribute a class 2 drug (cocaine).

Interpol issues arrest warrant for Diezani Allison-Madueke in UK

The International Police have issued an arrest warrant for former Nigerian Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke following a request by the Federal Government to the agency. According to reports, the necessary charges had been filed and attached to the extradition request by the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and by this request, all Interpol member countries were obliged to arrest the former minister anywhere she is seen on their territories.   Madueke has been in London, United Kingdom for over three years. Attached to the extradition request was the November 4, 2018 order for her arrest by Justice Valentine Ashi of the FCT High Court.   The court had directed the Inspector-General of Police; the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Director-General of the State Security Service and all heads of other agencies to apprehend the ex-petroleum minister.
