Barrack Obama reveals his 2018 favourite songs, movies and books

Former US President Barack Obama has revealed his yearly favourite songs, movies and books and his wife Michelle Obama's book 'Becoming' was named number one on the list.
Some notable artists whose songs landed on his favourite music for 2018  are H.E.R., The Carters, Jay Rock, J. Cole, Janelle Monae, Normani with Khalid.
While on the list for movies, he listed, Black Panther, Annihilation, Burning, Eighth Gradeand Leave No Trace among others.
Sharing his year-end lists, Obama wrote: 'As 2018 draws to a close, I’m continuing a favorite tradition of mine and sharing my year-end lists. It gives me a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that I found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved. It also gives me a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers – some who are household names and others who you may not have heard of before. American rapper, Nicki Minaj has been dragged to court by a stylist who claimed she wore his clothes and didn’t return them. According to Page Six, stylist  Maher Jridi is suing the incredibly rich rapper for failing to return expensive wardrobe items she had borrowed last year. The stylist further added that he rented the pieces for thousands of dollars from a company called Cloak Wardrobe. Nicki allegedly wore the clothes and didn’t bother to give them back once she was done. This same stylist happened to be the mind behind her Paris Fashion Week looks last year, and claims he is on the hook for $13,000 to replace the gear. He claimed to have made several attempts to resolve the issue out of court, but claims Nicki has ignored him. Jridi also alleges that the rapper has not fully paid him for his services. And it is why he is now seeking a total of $73,000.

FIFA bans three former presidents for life as part of crackdown on corruption

The ethics committee of World football governing body, (FIFA) has placed a lifetime ban on former presidents of the Guam, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan football associations for corruption. Ex-Guam FA boss Richard Lai, a former Asian Football Confederation(AFC) official, and FIFA committee member, pleaded guilty to fraud in the United States after an investigation into his case was opened in April. Lai was banned from all football-related activities alongside, a formerVenezuelan FA chief Rafael Esquiveland ex-Nicaraguan FA president Julio Rocha who both also pleaded guilty in the United States to separate federal charges ranging from wire fraud to racketeering and money laundering. Meanwhile, three more ex-South American football bosses, Peru's Manuel Burga, Brazilian Jose Maria Marin and Juan Angel Napout of Paraguay are also on trial in New York. They have also pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud, money-laundering, and racketeering.

Lionel Messi, the talented Barcelona forward, was awarded with his fifth Golden Boot on Tuesday afternoon, Marca reports.
