Argentina Legend Diego Maradona has slammed Barcelona star Lionel Messi saying he will never be a leader at Camp Nou or Argentina.

Lionel Messi is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world of football.

The 31-year-old has scored over 600 goals for both club and country and is a five time Ballon D’Or winner.

However, Maradona regarded also as a football great, has aimed a dig at his compatriot yet again.

“I love him with all my heart, he is a phenomenon, but they want to make hima leader, and he will never be a leader,” he said.

“He will always stay in his sporting, family and football world.”

MySportDab report Messi has been captain of the national team for years but has not managed to lead his team to World Cup or Copa America glory, losing three finals in the process.

The Argentine has won countless honours for Barca, including four Champions Leagues and nine La Liga titles.

Man Arrested For Robbery In Bayelsa 3 Weeks After Winning N4 Million Lottery

Two men have been arrested for robbery in Bayelsa State during the Christmas celebrations in Yenagoa the state capital. One of the suspects was said to have won a jackpot of N4m from a popular football lottery firm about three weeks earlier, before he was arrested over his involvement in armed robbery. According to sources, the suspect was also a popular member of a cult in the area, Punch metro reports. (CNN)A Russian warship "aggressively approached" a US Navy destroyer while it was operating in the North Arabian Sea Thursday, ignoring warnings from the US vessel and increasing the risk of a collision, the US Navy said Friday. The incident is the latest example of a close encounter between US and Russian military forces that US officials have described as unsafe and provocative and comes roughly seven months after another incident in the Pacific in June when US and Russian warships came so close the US ship had to perform an emergency maneuver to avoid a collision.
