Nigerian Man Hospitalized In US After Entering Plane For First Time & Was Tied

A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours. Emirates Airlines said he was being unruly andthey were trying to keep others safe. There were no details on what happened. His family doubts this and demands answers. Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the  N10 billion libel suit filed against him, the Sahara Reporters Incorporated and the Incorporated Trustees of Sahara Media Foundation by the General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, Dr Daniel Olukoya for their failure to desist from publishing false and malicious articles against him and his church, MFM, since 2013. 'Rambo' suspect Yves Rausch held in Black Forest after five-day hunt

German police have arrested a suspected gunman nicknamed "Rambo" after a five-day manhunt in the Black Forest. Yves Rausch, 31, is said to have fled into the forest near Oppenau, in south-west Germany, on Sunday after threatening four police officers and taking their pistols. An elite unit, helicopters, thermal detectors and sniffer dogs had been deployed to find him. After his arrest, officers seized four firearms, according to a statement. A postal worker gave police information which helped lead to his arrest and one person was injured during the operation, Germany's Bild daily is reporting. Boko Haram Tries To Take Over Military Base In Borno

Boko Haram fighters battled Nigerian soldiers for about an hour on Wednesday as they tried to take over a military base, in the latest attack against troops in the restive northeast. A former local government official, a civilian militia member and a motorist who witnessed the shooting said the Islamist militants tried to storm the outpost in the village of Mainok in Borno state. Troops managed to repel the attack with the help of reinforcements but it comes after a series of similar raids targeting soldiers that is likely to stoke fears of a resurgence. Wife of the President, Dr. Aisha Buhari has reacted to the claims by singer Timi Dakolo that “some strange men” made attempts to invade his residence. Igbere TV reports that Dakolo, earlier today, took to his Instagram account to raise an alarm over a strange bus that parked in front of his house.
