The Czech Republic has decided to pay Nigerians and other migrants to encourage them to leave the central European country. The offer is under a programme that focuses particularly on migrants from Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Mongolia, Russia, and Vietnam. According to a report published on RemixNews, a Czech Republic-based newspaper, the Czech government would pay any migrants who would voluntarily leave the country and other EU countries 4,000 EUR. Cops Who Killed Osaze Osagie, Nigerian Student In US, Cleared Of Charges

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports. Osagie died of multiple gunshot wounds after the confrontation at his apartment on Old Boalsburg Road. India and Nigeria Set To Sign Bilateral Air Services Agreement

India and Nigeria are set to sign Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) before the end of January that would enable direct flights between the two countries, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Abhay Thakur has said. Thakur said this to newsmen at an event to commemorate the World Hindi Day and Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Abuja on Wednesday night. The high commissioner said that the BASA was part of pending agreements to be signed between both countries.
