She wrote;"Proverbs 31.14, & 15.This Christmas God has blessed me to bless others especially the disadvantaged. In this case, from my own earnings i will bless over 1000 families within Meru county and show them mother’s love.

To a special brave Man who has fought the toughest battles to see me happy, please Murega Baichu humbly appreciate my gift for Christmas. As you drive this car remember to thank God and remind me always to serve my people and to keep my pledge of Lifting lives. Amen"

A baby born with a football-sized cyst on her neck is finally going home after a team of 40 doctors removed the growth from her neck in a gruelling operation. Parents feared the worst when little Bella-Rose Burress was delivered with a growth that was twice the size of her own head. But the one-week-old child has made a full recovery after the meticulous operation in Chicago, Illinois, was successful on August 27. Doctors diagnosed Bella-Rose with cystic hygroma - a collection of fluid-filled sacs - at Ms Pilarski's 20-week scan. At that time the growth measured 6cm but more than doubled to 13cm by the time she was born. A team of 40 doctors battle to cut the cyst from Bella-Rose's neck after her birth last week. Photos: Libyan Navy rescues 199 African migrants including Nigerians at sea

The Libyan Navy has rescued 199 illegal immigrants, including women and children, while attempting to reach Europe by sea. "A Libyan Coast Guard patrol rescued 179 men, 16 women and 4 children on board rubber boats in the middle of the sea," the Information Office of the Libyan Navy explained. The office added that the immigrants were of different African nationalities, including Nigeria. Four of them were from Egypt. The migrants were handed over to the immigration HQ of the Immigration Control Agency after providing them with humanitarian and medical assistance, according to the Information Office of the Libyan Navy.

Agents with U.S. Customs and the Drug Enforcement Administration have seized $18 million dollars’ worth of cocaine disguised as banana heading to a prison in Texas.   According to reports, the Wayne Scott Unit Prison Farm outside of Freeport, Texas, received a couple pallets of bananas as a donation. When two sergeants went to pick up the pallets, they found the drugs.   “One of the sergeants noticed one of the boxes didn’t seem quite right, looked a little further, removed that box off the pallets, looked inside and saw something extraordinarily suspicious,” Jeremy Desel with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice told KTRK.   Hidden under bundles of bananas were 540 kilos of cocaine. Mullah Nangyalay was killed but local officials say the attack also hit dozens of innocent bystanders. More than 60 civilians were killed or wounded in a US drone attack targeting a top Taliban splinter-group commander in the western Afghanistan province of Herat, local officials said. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking assistance in finding six Nigerians who the United States indicted for fraud. The bureau took to its Twitter handle to solicit help in finding the six men who are wanted for “their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses”. “Help the #FBI find ​six Nigerian nationals wanted for their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses,” it wrote. It asked that tips on the matter should be submitted here. Yobe State police commissioner says Boko Haram has killed at least 235 officers in the state

The Commissioner of Police in Yobe State, Abdulmaliki Sumonu has said that no fewer than 235 officers of the command had been lost to the Boko Haram insurgency in the last six years. He made the revelation at the investiture of an award on him by a non-governmental organisation, Actors Security Watch Organisation. Sumonu said the award was in recognition of services rendered by living officers and officers who died in defence of the nation. “This award is not just for the commissioner of police, but the entire police command for serving the nation diligently,” he said. The commissioner said that the award would serve as a tonic to the police to put in their best in the service of the country. He said that the command derived its inspiration from the higher police authorities. “This leadership gives every policeman a sense of belonging and fulfillment,” he said.
