Nigerian Woman Quits N64m White House Job :- Omarosa Manigault

Omarosa Manigault, a Nigerian who is director of communications for the White House’s office of public liaison, has resigned. According to sources, Manigault who earns $180,000 per annum will leave the White House on January 20, 2017, exactly one yearafter President Donald Trump took office.

It is not immediately clear why Omarosa resigned but the 43-year-old, who recently married John Newman, a Florida-based pastor, has been struggling to keep her job and family.

A source said Omarosa’s departure is connected to the “internal war” within Trump cabinet. Her decision raises the expectation of round of departures from the White House going into the New Year.

The White House has said that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave her position early next year. At least 14 people have left Trump’s government. Omarosa was the director of African-American outreach in Trump’s campaign.

A Zambian government worker is making the rounds  online after her nude picture emerged on social media and has now gone viral. According to reports, the woman who is believed to be a staff at the office of Miles Sampa, the Mayor of Lusaka city, Zambia, sent her bathroom selfie/ nude picture to her lover which was later leaked online.  This has gotten the woman heavily criticised and lambasted by internet users for the embarrassing act.  A lecturer of Clinical Pharmacology at The University of Zambia -UNZA, identified as Larry took to Facebook to warn women about the danger of sending nude pictures to their partners in the name of love. 3 Nigerians jailed in UK for laundering £1m to Black Axe leader in Nigeria

Three Nigerian siblings who were working directly for the leader of the Nigerian Black Axe gang, Augustus Bemigho-Eyeoyibo, have been jailed for a total of 16 years after laundering nearly £1m to him in Nigeria through several UK bank accounts.   Crown Prosecution Service reported on its website that Okemiorukaye Nakpodia, 56, was found guilty of conspiracy to money launder at Woolwich Crown Court. Esther Nakpodia, 35, Unuakpotovo Nakpodia, 46, both pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.   They laundered the proceeds of hundreds of frauds between 2007 and 2015. Police identified 174 suspicious transactions entering bank accounts. Money from a number of the victims of the original frauds ended up in the defendants’ bank accounts and was then laundered by the Nakpodias. Two men have been arrested for robbery in Bayelsa State during the Christmas celebrations in Yenagoa the state capital. One of the suspects was said to have won a jackpot of N4m from a popular football lottery firm about three weeks earlier, before he was arrested over his involvement in armed robbery.
