Woman stabs her younger sister allegedly because she refused to drop out of school so her kids could get an education (graphic photos)

A woman in Umuseti, Delta state slashed her sister's head with a sharp object allegedly because the younger sister refused to drop out ofschool to enable the elder sister's children get an education.

According to the story shared online by Oshanor John, the sisters are from a polygamous family and from his story, it can be inferred that finances are tight in the family and only a few people can be sponsored at each time to get an education. The sister was allegedly upset that her sister wouldn't stop school so her child could go, therefore, she tried to get her sister out of the way.

Luckily, the sister survived the attackthough she lost a lot of blood and is now recuperating.

Isco’s transfer switch to Chelsea this January is off after the player demanded more money, reports say. Spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, Brigadier-General Ramezan Sharif, has said the United States and Israel will have their momentary joy turned into mourning over the murder of its commander, General Kaseem Soleimani.  Soleimani and an Iraqi ally were struck down at the Baghdad Airport on Thursday.  The US say it was a decisive defence action, claiming the IRGC commander was planning attacks on American citizens in Iraq. Man Arrested For Robbery In Bayelsa 3 Weeks After Winning N4 Million Lottery

Two men have been arrested for robbery in Bayelsa State during the Christmas celebrations in Yenagoa the state capital. One of the suspects was said to have won a jackpot of N4m from a popular football lottery firm about three weeks earlier, before he was arrested over his involvement in armed robbery. According to sources, the suspect was also a popular member of a cult in the area, Punch metro reports. The sources, who said they were surprised by the development, noted that they were expecting the young man to use the money he had won to start a business or trade. Cops Who Killed Osaze Osagie, Nigerian Student In US, Cleared Of Charges

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports. Osagie died of multiple gunshot wounds after the confrontation at his apartment on Old Boalsburg Road.
