Woman stabs her younger sister allegedly because she refused to drop out of school so her kids could get an education (graphic photos)

A woman in Umuseti, Delta state slashed her sister's head with a sharp object allegedly because the younger sister refused to drop out ofschool to enable the elder sister's children get an education.

According to the story shared online by Oshanor John, the sisters are from a polygamous family and from his story, it can be inferred that finances are tight in the family and only a few people can be sponsored at each time to get an education. The sister was allegedly upset that her sister wouldn't stop school so her child could go, therefore, she tried to get her sister out of the way.

Luckily, the sister survived the attackthough she lost a lot of blood and is now recuperating.

Governor Ortom Reacts To Claims By Prof. Muhammad That Benue State Belongs To Fulani

The Benue State Government has reacted to the claim by Professor Umar Labdo Muhammad of the Faculty of Humanities, Northwest University, Kano that Benue State belongs to the Fulani by conquest.The Professor, in a Facebook post that went viral on Thursday, had also insisted that no one can expel the Fulani from Benue. The University Don predicated his claim on the fact that half of Benue State is part of theBauchi Emirate and also half of the Adamawa Emirate. Kehinde Olatubosun, 56, from Ibadan, Oyo State, was arrested on Saturday night along with 18 other drug addicts at a joint in Ipodo, Ikeja.
