Woman stabs her younger sister allegedly because she refused to drop out of school so her kids could get an education (graphic photos)

A woman in Umuseti, Delta state slashed her sister's head with a sharp object allegedly because the younger sister refused to drop out ofschool to enable the elder sister's children get an education.

According to the story shared online by Oshanor John, the sisters are from a polygamous family and from his story, it can be inferred that finances are tight in the family and only a few people can be sponsored at each time to get an education. The sister was allegedly upset that her sister wouldn't stop school so her child could go, therefore, she tried to get her sister out of the way.

Luckily, the sister survived the attackthough she lost a lot of blood and is now recuperating.

A former student of Makerere University Business School, Arthur Basalirwa, posted a screenshot from a WhatsApp chat, dedicated to a one ‘D” and it read; “Hi D. You will always ask yourself if you had sent me a more meaningful text. These are your last words to me. Goodbye D.” From the screenshots of the WhatsApp chat he shared, Basalirwa seemed to have undergone a rough breakup with his girlfriend. Cops Who Killed Osaze Osagie, Nigerian Student In US, Cleared Of Charges

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports.
