As the dusts on the controversial legalization of homosexuality in Ghana seems to have settled, a picture has once again resurrected the topic.

Pictures showing yet to be identified Ghanaian lesbians tying the knot has gone viral. Unconfirmed reports suggests that the two love birds got married in a private ceremony in Holland. One of the pictures show the ladies beautifully dressed in Ghanaian made kente while another also show the ladies dressed in their white wedding apparel.

Many have criticised the ladies for embarrassing the the nation outside the shores of Ghana.The discussion on homosexuality became very prominent in recent times after president Akufo Addo in an interview with Al Jazeera news opined that Ghana may legalize homosexuality should there be strong demand for it.

Man Lures 16-Year-Old Girl From Facebook To Benin Hotel, Kidnaps And Rapes Her

A suspect identified as Vincent Idumonyi, was apprehended by police operatives after abducting and raping a 16-year-old secondary school girl in Benin city, Edo state. It was gathered that the suspect met his victim on Facebook where she released her phone number to him after they became friends. After a month of chatting, the suspect arranged to meet with the girl in a hotel in the town where he kidnapped her for three days. He threatened to inject her with a deadly substance if she raised an alarm, a situation which led to her being raped by the suspect. Vincent then contacted the girl's family to demand for some money before her release. The family eventually parted ways with N382,000. The victim herself revealed that the suspect who threatened her also with a knife, had sex with her twice in the hotel.

Bolanle Ninalowo, a Nollywood actor who was born a Muslim has revealed that though he is now a Christian, he has never been to church.Bolanle Ninalowo who spoke in an interview with Sunday Scoop, said he has never been to church even though he is now a Christian because he renews his covenant with God in his room. The actor who said he believes in tithe said; “When I was going through dark times, I started reading my Bible and began to understand better how life works. Don’t forget that I was born a Muslim. I have never actually been to church to worship but I renew my covenant with God in my room. Former WBA world super-middleweight champion,  George Groves  has announced his retirement from boxing four months after losing his WBA belt to fellow Briton Callum Smith. 30-year old Groves, who became world champion at the fourth attempt when he beat Russia’s  Fedor Chudinov  in Sheffield in 2017, said he wanted to go out at the top.   “I don’t want there to be a time where I’m ‘too old’ to box on, or where an injury retires me in or out of the ring,” he said in a statement on his Instagram account. In his fight prior to the Chudinov bout Groves beat  Eduard Gutknecht , the German suffered a serious brain injury that left him in a coma and unable to fight again. ​Hyundai Develops Fingerprint Tech To Unlock And Start Cars

Hyundai has developed a fingerprint recognition system which allows drivers to unlock and start their cars without the need for a conventional key. It is due to be launched in China during the first quarter of 2019 and will appear first on the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. Drivers will register their fingerprint to the car before using the system. Fingerprint scanners in the door handle and on the car’s start button will then recognise the driver when used, granting access and starting the engine. Multiple drivers can register their fingerprints and Hyundai says that the system will automatically adjust the driving position, mirrors, climate control and steering settings according to each individual user.

Kano Hisbah Board To Destroy One Million Beer Bottles

The Kano State Hisbah Board, on Saturday, confirmed that it would destroy over one million bottles of beer it confiscated from traders within the Kano metropolis. The KSHB’s Assistant Commander on Special Duties, Mr. Nahabani Usman, who made the disclosure, said the action was in compliance with the penal code of the Board, which prohibits drugs or any intoxicating substance. Also, Nahabani urged the state government to incorporate its newly-proposed Drug Control Agency into the activities of the Board and constitute a special court to address the cases of illegal drug-related offences in the state. The assistant commander urged professors and other wealthy individuals, who had only one wife but intended to marry more, to pick the forms from the Board or from his office.
