Serena Williams and her Reddit co-founder fiancé Alexis to be married on Thursday

New mother and tennis champion, Serena Williams, 36 and her fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Olympia Ohanian, are billed to be married in front of several stars and family members on Thusday, in New Orleans.


The wedding is being held in secrecyand the guests have been informed only of the city where it will be held but not yet the venue. However, DailyMail seems to know where the wedding will take place, they calim itwill take place at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.

Some of the invited guests are Beyonce, Jay Z, the Kardashian/Jenners,Ciaraand Prince Harry's girlfriend, Meghan Markle and many others.Guests will be banned from using their cell phones because Williams signed an exclusive deal with Vogue editor Anna Wintour to run the photosA source told DM:


'Serena and Alexishave spared no expense on their dream wedding, which is estimated to cost $1million.Guests will not learn the details until Thursday morning.Williams and Ohanian welcomed their first child Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. on September 1.

An American woman in Zimbabwe has been jailed for 'insulting' President Robert Mugabe by allegedly tweeting an image of him which suggested he has a catheter from an anonymous account which was still active as she languished behind bars on Saturday. Martha O'Donovan, 25, was arrested on Friday morning at her home near Harare, the country'scapital, and was taken into custody on a charge of insulting or undermining the president and trying to overthrow an elected government.Police say that on October 11, O'Donovan tweeted that Mugabe, 93, is a 'very selfish and sick man' and claimed that he was surviving on a catheter. They claim they traced the anonymous Twitter account @matigary, which allegedly posted thetweet, to her address through its IP address.On Saturday, O'Donovan was held in custody after a brief court hearing and she must now wait until November 15 to return to court.Her lawyers say they will appeal for her to be granted bail at the High Co...

Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported.
