Zambian President Edgar Lungu wants the U.S. ambassador to leave the country after the diplomat criticized the African state for sentencing a gay couple to 15 years behind bars for having a consensual relationship. “We have complained officially to the American government, and we are waiting for their response because we don’t want such people in our midst,” Lungu said Sunday in comments broadcast on state-owned ZNBC TV. “We want him gone.” U.S. Ambassador Daniel Foote said last month that he was “personally horrified” after the high court sentenced the two men and called on the government to reconsider laws that punish minority groups. The move was particularly disturbing as “government officials can steal millions of public dollars without prosecution,” Foote said. A woman shared a photo of her bare breasts which were visible beneath her sheer top and this led to an argument on Twitter. Some who commented pointed out that by exposing her boobs on Twitter, the woman was exposing herself to being abused and sexualized by men. But others said boobs aren't meant to be sexualized because they are meant for feeding babies. Some also said it was all about self-control. They pointed out that women walk about in skimpy bikini abroad yet their men exercise self-control and do not go about abusing them. A US based Nigerian soldier, Sergeant First Class Ifeanyi Rapu, has been awarded after completing a 3-year tour with his fellow soldiers in New York. The gallant soldier was honoured with the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), a military award presented to membersof the United States Armed Forces who distinguished themselves by outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the United States. Buhari's aides react as Cardi B jokingly seeks Nigerian citizenship over Trump’s airstrike on Iran.  Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman of diaspora commission, and Bashir Ahmad, President Buhari's aide on new media, reacted to Cardi B's tweet saying she was filing for Nigerian citizenship.  Bashir Ahmad  the personal assistant on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, also reacted to Cardi B's tweet.  The presidential aide also jokingly tweeted that Cardi B's choice of Nigeria has put an end to the usual playful rivalry between the country and its West African neighbor.
