Indonesian Men Beaten With Cane 100 Times For Having Sex With Underage Girls

After just five lashes, a pervert caught having sex with underage girls cried out for mercy to the masked Sharia officer, but doctors in Indonesia declared him fit for another 95 whips.

Flogging is common for a range of offences in the region at the tip of Sumatra island, including gambling, drinking alcohol, and having gay sex or relations outside of marriage.

It is the only province in Indonesia that imposes Islamic law.

The two men whipped on Wednesday were arrested this year — one for having sex with his underage step-daughter and the other for engaging in relations with a neighbour who was also below the age of consent.

The 100-stroke punishment is reserved for the most severe crimes and the pair were also sentenced to as much as five years in prison.

Reginald Mengi, one of Tanzania’s wealthiest and most storied businessmen, has died at the age of 75, leaving behind $560 million for his 39-year-old wife, Jacqueline, former Miss Tanzania. Tanzanian media and executives at his family office confirmed on Thursday morning that Mengi passed on in the early hours in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tanzania’s President John Magufuli sent a condolence message via his Twitter page early on Thursday. “ I am shocked at the death of an elder and a friend Dr. Reginald Mengi. I will remember him for his immense contribution to the development of our country and for the words he wrote in his book (titled) I Can, I Must, I Will. Abdullahi Babalele, son-in-law of Atiku Abubakar was docked today on a new charge of laundering $140,000. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission who brought him before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, did not state the recipient of the money, but it fits the N50million gift sent by Atiku to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, days before the election. Babalele faces a two-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of $140,000.00. He allegedly persuaded one Bashir Mohammed, a Bureau De Change( BDC) operator, to make a cash payment of the sum of $140,000 without going through any financial institution, an offence contrary to Section 18(c) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under Section 16(2)(b) of the same Act. The United states appears to have thrown its weight behind the military coup which brought Robert Mugabe's 37 year reign to an end. India and Nigeria Set To Sign Bilateral Air Services Agreement

India and Nigeria are set to sign Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) before the end of January that would enable direct flights between the two countries, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Abhay Thakur has said. Thakur said this to newsmen at an event to commemorate the World Hindi Day and Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Abuja on Wednesday night.
