Indonesian Men Beaten With Cane 100 Times For Having Sex With Underage Girls

After just five lashes, a pervert caught having sex with underage girls cried out for mercy to the masked Sharia officer, but doctors in Indonesia declared him fit for another 95 whips.

Flogging is common for a range of offences in the region at the tip of Sumatra island, including gambling, drinking alcohol, and having gay sex or relations outside of marriage.

It is the only province in Indonesia that imposes Islamic law.

The two men whipped on Wednesday were arrested this year — one for having sex with his underage step-daughter and the other for engaging in relations with a neighbour who was also below the age of consent.

The 100-stroke punishment is reserved for the most severe crimes and the pair were also sentenced to as much as five years in prison.

Famous Mexican drug lord,  Joaquin  "El Chapo"  Guzman  has been found guilty on all counts against him and is expected to spend the rest of his life in a US jail  El Chapo who escaped from prison twice, made his first successful attempt in 2001 and broke out of a Mexican jail by hiding in a laundry bin. Then, in 2014, he fled jail through a mile-long lighted tunnel which his associates had fitted with a motorcycle on rails. He was arrested again in 2016 and extradited to the US the following year. On Tuesday, Guzman was convicted of running a criminal enterprise that amassed him a $14 billion (£11 billion) fortune. He ran the Sinaloa cartel, becoming the world's most notorious drug baron since Pablo Escobar, the Colombian who was shot dead in 1993. Donald Trump has criticized birthright citizenship and vowed to revoke the law through an executive order. The birthright citizenship allows children of non-citizens and illegal immigrants born in the US to become automatic citizens. Trump says this is "ridiculous" and he promised to do something about it. Well, it seems the president has forgotten that same applies to his children's situation and a social media user pointed it out to him that his kids were born by an immigrant who wasn't a US citizen. @MrFilmkritik tweeted: Ivana Trump wasn't a US citizen until 1988. A Nigerian, Job Oyebisi, who won the 2018 Idea Change Lives British Council global competition, was yesterday awarded a cash prize of £20,000 for emerging champion.
