Oh boy! Pentagon accidentally retweets message calling for Donald Trump's resignation

The official Twitter account of the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense) retweeted a post calling for Donald Trump to resign as the President of the United States. The post was immediately deleted but not before a number of eyes had seen it and taken screenshots. The original tweet which was postedby @ProudResister said: “The solution is simple. Roy Moore: Step down from the race. Al Franken: Resign from congress. Donald Trump: Resign from the presidency. GOP: Stop making sexual assault a partisan issue. It's a crime as is your hypocrisy.”


Pentagon spokesman Colonel Rob Manning said in a statement that it had been a mistake on the part of anauthorised operator of the Defense Department's official Twitter site He wrote: “An authorized operator ofthe @DeptofDefense's official Twitter site erroneously retweeted content that would not be endorsed by the Department of Defense. The operator caught this error and immediately deleted it.”The same statement was tweeted bythe Pentagon's chief spokesperson Dana White.

Real Madrid have won their third FIFA Club World Cup trophy in a row after a 4-1 win against AL Ain. Ballon D'or winner modric opened the scoring in the first half with a by curling a shot from the edge of the box into the corner. Al Ain cleared a corner to the edge of the area where Marcos Llorente waited and fired low to double Madrid's advantage. MySportDab report Sergio Ramos scored from a corner before Tsukasa Shiotani grabbed a consolation goal. Yahia Nader scored an own goal to cap off Madrid's victory on Saturday.

A Nigerian woman, Julesville Omalicha on Facebook raised concern on social media over teenage girl who lives in a trash site in Lagos and her viral post got the homeless girl medical attention. According to her,  'I recently started seeing this little girl, a teenager roaming the streets of Ajegunle. And i will be wondering where she came from, where her parents or guardians are? Thinking of how to help her. I stopped one day to make friends with her. I brought out 100 naira to give her and see if i can elicit any info from her. But she ran off before i got to where she was standing. Today, i saw her sleeping on a heap of refuse at New road bus stop, Bale street, Ajegunle.
