Two Nigerian Nationals Arrested With Fake Indian Currency in India

Officials of the Khanna police in India on Saturday arrested two Nigerian nationals, Nelson Igwe and Nnamdi Andrew. Recovered fake currency from their possession.

Acting on a tip-off, Crime Branch officials intercepted the accused identified as 'Colvin Norman' and 'Gamtoi Cauva' near Doraha bus stand on Saturday afternoon.

On frisking them, the police recovered fake currency of Rs 3.52 lakh of the denomination of Rs 100. They were detained after they failed to give satisfactory answers

Nigerian Man Seeking Asylum Kills His Girlfriend In Germany

A Nigerian man, simply identified as Anthony I, who sought asylum in Germany and lied that he was gay and had fought Boko Haram, is on trial in Muenster, Germany for stabbing and killing his girlfriend earlier this year. Prosecutors said the 28-year-old Anthony brutally murdered Soopika Paramanathan, a 22-year-old German student known locally as the “Angel of Ahaus” for her volunteer work with refugees.Anthony attacked Paramanathan on Feb. 11 after she ended their relationship, prosecutors said, he allegedly stabbed her repeatedly with a long-bladed knife in her head, neck and breasts. Today, I joined my Lawyer Femi Falana SAN and his team of lawyers at the Court of Appeal in continuation of our case against my illegal suspension consequently suspending my entire constituency from the House of Representatives. The appeal filed by the House was finally heard and judgement reserved. We thank the Almighty. We have so far served 14 months in suspension. However slowly, surely justice will come for me and my people. I wish to thank my constituents for their patience and keeping faith. The experience of last 14 months has turned out to be probably the best I have had in my entire life.
