US rapper Kanye West sues Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records

Kanye West has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his former friend Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI Publishing over unpaid publishing royalties.
According to TMZ, the rapper and producer filed two lawsuits against Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI April Music. 
In his suit against his former record label, 'Ye claims that he signed an exclusive recording agreement with the company and is seeking monies owed from the label.
In his second lawsuit with EMI Publishing, Kanye claims that in 2003, before his debut album College Dropout was released in 2004, he signed a contract with them that would allow him to produce songs for other artists.
Kanye also claims that he'd written over 200 songs by the end of 2011 and that he gave those songs to EMI before they had a dispute. He’s asking a judge to declare him his rights back to him, presumably to collect royalties.
The Gossip site also revealed that Kanye has enlisted the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan to rep him in the case.

Nigerian President Buhari To Slash Salaries Of Those Earning Above Minimum Wage

Source Daily Trust President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the salaries of all those earning above the minimum wage would be slashed down.  Inaugurating a Presidential Advisory Committee on New National Minimum Wage at the council chambers this morning, he said he would be engaging those earning above the country’s minimum wage soon for the review. The President, had while presenting this year’s budget proposal to the joint session of the National Assembly last month, said he would set up a technical committee to look into the recommendations of the tripartite committee on minimum wage. Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported. Pirates abduct six Russian sailors off the coast of Benin Republic

The Russian Embassy in Benin Republic has revealed that six Russian sailors were abducted by pirates off the coast of Benin Among those taken hostage was the captain of the vessel, the embassy said, adding that all of the sailors have “vanished.’’ The abductees were Russian nationals.   According to reports, there were 24 people on board the ship when the attack took place on Wednesday in the Gulf of Guinea, the embassy said. In 2018, an oil tanker with a crew of 22 Indian nationals was hijacked by pirates in the Gulf of Guinea. The crew members were released after five days as hostages, following a reported ransom payment.

A scorned wife meted out a serious punishment on her husband’s lover after catching her at their house. The wife forced the woman to confess and told her she had to pay by doing housework. First the woman was given a cloth and bucket and told to scrub the floor. Then she was told to wash the bedding and the blankets – the very same blankets the lady had shared with her husband. “You want to be the woman of this house? “Then do the chores as a wife. The video was apparently shot in Pretoria, Tshwane, South Africa at the weekend and went viral on Monday. The side chick is later made to mop up her footprints on the ground with a cloth.
