US rapper Kanye West sues Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records

Kanye West has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his former friend Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI Publishing over unpaid publishing royalties.
According to TMZ, the rapper and producer filed two lawsuits against Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI April Music. 
In his suit against his former record label, 'Ye claims that he signed an exclusive recording agreement with the company and is seeking monies owed from the label.
In his second lawsuit with EMI Publishing, Kanye claims that in 2003, before his debut album College Dropout was released in 2004, he signed a contract with them that would allow him to produce songs for other artists.
Kanye also claims that he'd written over 200 songs by the end of 2011 and that he gave those songs to EMI before they had a dispute. He’s asking a judge to declare him his rights back to him, presumably to collect royalties.
The Gossip site also revealed that Kanye has enlisted the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan to rep him in the case.

Apple Denies Iphone Sales Ban In China - Phones

US chip-maker Qualcomm claims it has won an injunction against Apple that effectively bans the import and sale of a number of iPhone models, ranging from the iPhone 6S to the iPhone X. The preliminary order, issued by a Chinese court, is the latest in step a continuing feud between the two tech giants over intellectual property. However, Apple says all of its iPhone models remain on sale in the country. The disputed patents relate to software rather than hardware. The injunction affects devices running older versions of Apple’s iOS operating system and not those running the latest version, iOS 12. The court found Apple had violated two of Qualcomm’s patents – one regarding photograph resizing and the other related to how apps are managed on a touch screen. “Apple continues to benefit from our intellectual property while refusing to compensate us,” said Don Rosenberg, general counsel of Qualcomm. Buhari’s Son Remain In Coma As Doctors Discover Additional InjuriesYusuf Buhari, the son of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari who was hospitalized in Abuja after a ghastly motorbike crash has not regained his ability to speak but doctors handling his treatment said he is gradually showing sign of recovery. Yesterday, the younger Buhari who sustained a head injury and a broken limb indicated to doctors repeatedly about his hand.
