First Brain Surgery Conducted At Buhari Specialist Hospital In Kano. Photos

A brain surgery has been successfully carried out at Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital in Kano.

The operation which is said to be the first of its kind - was conducted by a team of doctors at the hospital which was established early last year by governor Umar Ganduje's administration. 

In March 2018, governor Ganduje signed the state Ultra-Modern Specialist Hospitals Bill into Law.   

The law is specifically meant to propel activities of two clinics, Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital, Giginyu and Pediatric Hospital along Zoo Road in the metropolis. 

Signing the bill at the state executive council meeting, he assured that the operations and management of the hospitals would not be business as usual.

He said government would not allow industrial action in the two facilities insisting: “It will not go the way civil servants operate in other health facilities.

A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours. I was pondering this morning about murder , you know , with all the disturbing front page articles on murder and the gruesome pictures shown. I started thinking , how can people be so heartless and lacking in empathy to the extent of not just killing a fellow being but doing so in a manner that is savagely barbaric. These murderers must have mental health issues, anger problems or just plain evil built into their DNA. The wife of 37 year old Seun Ayoade, pictured above has accusedan officer of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Ondo State Police Command, Ojelabi Oladele, of torturing her husband to death because she refused having sex with him while she was married to the deceased. Gbemisola in an interview with Sahara Reporters, said Seun and officer Ojelabi Oladele were friends and that during her marriage to Seun, Ojelabi had asked her for sex and she turned him down. He persisted in his request and she repeatedly turned him down on the grounds that she is married and not just that, but that she is married to someone who is his friend.
