GG Conservation in Harrismith, South Africa, is offering guests the chance to rent a three-bedroom house at the sanctuary, with 77 lions prowling the grounds.

The price £82 per night.

Suzanne Scott, 50, the conservation director, says the rental is perfectly safe thanks to strong electric fences surrounding the building.

German police have arrested a suspected gunman nicknamed "Rambo" after a five-day manhunt in the Black Forest. Yves Rausch, 31, is said to have fled into the forest near Oppenau, in south-west Germany, on Sunday after threatening four police officers and taking their pistols. The FBI has launched an investigation after hackers hijacked Twitter accounts of a number of high-profile US figures in an apparent Bitcoin scam. "The accounts appear to have been compromised in order to perpetuate cryptocurrency fraud," said the bureau, urging the public to be vigilant. Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Joe Biden were among those hit in what Twitter said was a "co-ordinated" attack. Their official accounts requested donations in the cryptocurrency. Boko Haram Tries To Take Over Military Base In Borno

Boko Haram fighters battled Nigerian soldiers for about an hour on Wednesday as they tried to take over a military base, in the latest attack against troops in the restive northeast. A former local government official, a civilian militia member and a motorist who witnessed the shooting said the Islamist militants tried to storm the outpost in the village of Mainok in Borno state. Troops managed to repel the attack with the help of reinforcements but it comes after a series of similar raids targeting soldiers that is likely to stoke fears of a resurgence.
