Superstar footballer, Lionel Messi is enjoying a well deserved holiday in Ibiza with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo, their three children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro together with Daniella Semaan the partner of his ex-Barcelona team-mate Cesc Fabregas.

The 31-year-old Barcelona star and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was pictured paddle-boarding with his wife in the Spanish sea as they soaked up the sun during their holiday.

‘Gift’ to Obasanjo: Atiku’s son-in-law charged afresh with money laundering

Abdullahi Babalele, son-in-law of Atiku Abubakar was docked today on a new charge of laundering $140,000. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission who brought him before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, did not state the recipient of the money, but it fits the N50million gift sent by Atiku to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, days before the election. Babalele faces a two-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of $140,000.00. He allegedly persuaded one Bashir Mohammed, a Bureau De Change( BDC) operator, to make a cash payment of the sum of $140,000 without going through any financial institution, an offence contrary to Section 18(c) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under Section 16(2)(b) of the same Act. Judgement on P&ID $8.9billion Gas Contract Is A Daylight Robbery – Magu The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has commenced an investigation into the circumstances leading to the $8.9billion arbitral award against Nigeria by a United Kingdom Court over alleged breach of gas contract agreement between it and Process and Industrial Development Limited. This was disclosed by the acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu on Friday while playing host to a delegation from the Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NDC), led by the Chairman and Chief Executive, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who sought for collaboration with EFCC towards effective combating of cybercrimes, being committed by Nigerians in the Diaspora.
