APC reacts to party members defection in National Assembly, says ''we still control 25 out of the 36 states''

By -

Here is an official statement from APC reacting to the defection of 15 Senators and 36 house of representatives members from the party today. Read below
The All Progressives Congress (APC) notes the development in the National Assembly with the defection of some of our members from the Party.
In the last couple of weeks our Party leaders have worked to stave off this situation as responsible Party leaders would do. It would appear however that the individuals involved have different considerations beyond the grievances that they were willing to discuss and which our leaders were willing to address.
As a truly democratic party, we respect the right of every citizen to political association. Therefore, we urge our members to remain calm as we continue to work hard to position our party strongly for the next general elections.  APC remains in firm control of 25 states of the 36 states of the federation and maintains a clear majority in the federal House of Representatives and state assemblies.
We assure members and supporters that our great Party will continue to consolidate on our majority status in the leadup to the 2019 General Elections, even as our government continue to work hard to deliver on our promises to Nigerians.

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi
National Publicity Secretary

Song Recommendation YOU  ARE SICK … If you are reading this line it means you  understand “ that nobody ever die of insort”   and you didn’t close the brief in anger. I would explain the very insulting opening paragraph with total faith that you would have been cured of your ailment when you are done reading this brief ( yet another insort ) but first, let me tell you about my week I work with a company where nobody gives a flying donkey how many years of experience you have. They’d give you projects that require a decent number of years of experience & expertise and budgets to the tune of millions of Naira and then you are required to build castles in the sky. When you complain that it ( building a castle in the sky)  isn’t realistic they’d tell you and prove to you that it has been done before ( Stay with me I am getting somewhere) . A nice way to describe my first project is -It failed. All the millions of Naira invested entered the bush. I was told to r...
