El-Rufai Sues Shehu Sani For Defamation ForN2 Billion

Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai has filed a N2 billion lawsuit against Senator Shehu Sani for defamation, PoliticsNGR has gathered. El-Rufai filed the suit at the Kaduna State High court on Friday, seeking reliefs for injuries allegedly suffered as results of “malicious statements” in the media by Senator Sani.

The Kaduna governor claims that Sani made malicious statements through the media to humiliate and defame him adding that Sani called him a "drunk, loose cannon and an embarrassment to President Muhammadu Buhari". El-rufai demanded a public declaration from Sani that the terrible remarks made against him were false.

Speaking to reporters at the court premises after filing the suit, counsel to El-Rufai, Abdulhakeem Mustapha, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), dismissed insinuations that the governor, by virtue of his position did not have the constitutional right to sue any citizen.

Egyptian Archaeologist Discovered 3500 Years Old Mummy As They Explore Tombs

Egyptian archaeologists have discovered a mummy in one of two previously unexplored tombs, the antiquities ministry said on Saturday. The tombs were found across the Nile from thesouthern city of Luxor in the 1990s by German archaeologist Frederica Kampp. Since Kampp's discovery, 'both tombs were leftuntouched' until an Egyptian archaeological mission started work. The official Twitter account of the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense) retweeted a post calling for Donald Trump to resign as the President of the United States. The post was immediately deleted but not before a number of eyes had seen it and taken screenshots. The original tweet which was postedby @ProudResister said: “The solution is simple.
