State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. US Airbase In Iraq Hit By Rockets from Iran

An airbase housing US and coalition troops in Iraq has been hit by rockets, according to US security sources. The Al-Asad base was reportedly hit by multiple rockets. It is unclear if there have been any casualties. It come after top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad on Friday, on the orders of US President Donald Trump. Man sues popular actor for ruining his life by showing his phone number in movie

A man has sued popular Bangladeshi movie star Shakib Khan, for ruining his life after he used his business phone number on-screen in one of Khan’s recent films.  The plaintiff, Ijajul Mia, who's an auto-rickshaw driver alleged that ever since the film launched, he has since been receiving phone calls from the actor’s female fan base, which caused significant disruption to his life. The movie, Rajneeti, was released on June 25, 2017.  In the movie, Khan who is one of the country’s highest acclaimed actors is seen and heard calling out a phone number, which is a common trope in Bangladeshi films. NSE market capitalisation rises by N29bn ON NOVEMBER 7, 2017The market capitalisation of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by N29 billion on Tuesday following rekindled investors’ confidence. Newsmen report that the market capitalisation rose by N29 billion or 0.23 per cent to close at N12.810 trillion from N12.781 trillion recorded on Monday. Also, the All-share index grew by 82.74 basis points to 37, 013.57 from 36, 930.83 achieved on monday. In all, Investors traded 305.171 million shares worth N2.905 billion in 4399 deals, against 466.522 million shares worth N2.90 billion exchanged in 4, 274 deals on Monday. Total Nigeria led onprice gainers’ chart, appreciating by N5 to close at N229 per share, while Dangote Cement followed with a gain of N2 to close at N229 per share. Today, I joined my Lawyer Femi Falana SAN and his team of lawyers at the Court of Appeal in continuation of our case against my illegal suspension consequently suspending my entire constituency from the House of Representatives. The appeal filed by the House was finally heard and judgement reserved. We thank the Almighty. We have so far served 14 months in suspension. However slowly, surely justice will come for me and my people. I wish to thank my constituents for their patience and keeping faith. The experience of last 14 months has turned out to be probably the best I have had in my entire life.
