Davido: My Godfather Is Captain Hosa Idahosa Wells Okunbo (Photos)

Nigeria pop super star David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has just revealed his God father for the first time and you can’t believe who he was. The ‘Assurance’ crooner who recently gave insights into his upbringing and rise to fame has revealed that Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo (Hosa) is his God -Father.

Idahosa Wells Okunbo is a Nigerian business magnate, investor, philanthropist and trained commercial pilot. He serves as either chairman or director on numerous company boards in Nigeria, spanning multiple business sectors such as the agro-allied, petroleum, telecommunications, power, real estate and banking industries.

Davido made a post on Instagram saying:

“I wanna say a big Thank you to my Godfather Capt Hosa for making this possible! Also wanna say a Big thank you to the Chagoury’s for hosting me in their beautiful home and a lovely dinner !! BACK ON TRACK WE ANNOUNCE MY DECEMBER CONCERT IN 2 DAYS!!
