Father Mbaka Reacts As Buhari Donates N2 Million To His Church

Spiritual leader of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Father Ejike Mbaka has reacted after President Muhammadu Buhari donated N2 million to his church.

The Controversial Catholic Priest thanked the president for the donation, which was made through Imo APC Guber Candidate, Hope Uzodinma. He shockingly proceeded to flay the president for abandoning him and his ministry after the prayers and support they offered him in the 2015 Elections.

He disclosed that he insulted Ex-Anambra state governor and current Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Peter Obi because of his support for President Buhari. He lamented that the President did not carry out any project for his church after the 2015 Elections as a means of gratitude for their support.

Buhari's aides react as Cardi B jokingly seeks Nigerian citizenship over Trump’s airstrike on Iran.  Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman of diaspora commission, and Bashir Ahmad, President Buhari's aide on new media, reacted to Cardi B's tweet saying she was filing for Nigerian citizenship.  Bashir Ahmad  the personal assistant on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, also reacted to Cardi B's tweet.  The presidential aide also jokingly tweeted that Cardi B's choice of Nigeria has put an end to the usual playful rivalry between the country and its West African neighbor.

FG Makes N909 Billion From VAT in 2017

Between October 2016 and September 2017, the federation account received a total inflow of N908.9bn in Value Added Tax receipts from the Federal Inland Revenue Service, figures obtained from the National Bureau of Statisticshave revealed.An analysis of the VAT report obtained from the NBS showed that the amount was collected from 28 sectoral activities during the period under review. A breakdown of the amount showed that the sum of N207.35bn was generated in the fourth quarter of 2016, while the first, second and third quarters of 2017 had N204.77bn, N246.3bn and N250.56bn, respectively. In the report signed by the Statistician General of the Federation and Chief Executive, NBS, Dr. Yemi Kale, the bureau said the manufacturing sector with N115.76bn generated the highest amount of VAT revenue. Nigerian Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has said the struggle in the country is between good and evil and not between the two major religions. Nigerian man arrested for scamming two Texas women out of $78,000

A Nigerian man was arrested in Atlanta Georgia last Friday morning in connection to online scams in El Paso County, Texas.    Officials with the El Paso County Sheriff's office said the suspect, Kelly Itive allegedly convinced two women to send him $78,000 over the internet.   Police said Itive was posing as a middle aged white man with an engineering background while he was committing the scams.   Between April of 2017 and February of 2018, investigators said Itive used fake bank websites to convince the women to send him money and had no intentions of paying them back.   Itive is originally from Nigeria and came to United States in early 2017 on a student visa. Investigators said Itive immediately started the scams when he arrived.   Itive was taken into custody on Friday morning and will be scheduled for extradition back to Colorado to face charges of Theft and Criminal Impersonation.

Nigerian Man Scared Of Returning Home, Allegedly Breaks Traffic Rules In US

Here is a footage from a court proceeding of a Nigerian man that was accused of breaking the traffic rules in the Rhode Island, US. According to a video making rounds online, the Nigerian man in response to all the questions asked by the Chief Judge Frank Caprio, painstakingly asked  "if he would be sent back Nigeria or sent to prison". The Judge who seem not to be hard-handed was compassionate with him and granted him bail after he found him not guilty as charged.
