A Twitter user who graduated with a perfect 4.0 CGPA shared photos from his Msc graduation ceremony in Texas, USA and narrated how his dad's friend advised his dad not to send him for his masters in the US because he graduated with less than 2.1 during his B.sc in Nigeria.

The GoFundMe campaign dedicated to Americans funding the Texas border wall has been shut down after funders failed to reach the $1 billion goal set. Bobby Whithorne, director of North America Communications for GoFundMe said donors will receive their money on April 11, unless they choose to donate their contribution to the campaign creator's new venture, GoFundMe said in an email to the campaign's participants.   Brian Kolfage, a triple-amputee Air Force veteran, raised more than $20 million on the crowd-funding platform to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. At the onset of the campaign, Kolfage said he would only collect the funds if the campaign hit its goal of $1 billion about one-fifth of what President Trump has been demanding from Congress to build it.   "However, that did not happen. Nigerian President Buhari To Slash Salaries Of Those Earning Above Minimum Wage

Source Daily Trust President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the salaries of all those earning above the minimum wage would be slashed down.  Inaugurating a Presidential Advisory Committee on New National Minimum Wage at the council chambers this morning, he said he would be engaging those earning above the country’s minimum wage soon for the review. The President, had while presenting this year’s budget proposal to the joint session of the National Assembly last month, said he would set up a technical committee to look into the recommendations of the tripartite committee on minimum wage. In attendance at the session, were the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, among others. Canadian Rapper Drake under fire for kissing and fondling a 17-year-old girl onstage in new viral video

Canadian rapper,  Drake  has sparked outrage after a video showing him kissing and fondling a 17-year-old girl at one of his concerts surfaced online on Saturday. In the video, Drake invites the girl onstage during a break at the concert which took place in Denver. After kissing her shoulder and hugging her from behind, the rapper asks the girl how old she is. Upon hearing her answer, Drake makes a joke on stage, saying: "I can't go to jail yet."  "Why do you look like that?" he continues. Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported.
