Twitter user, Stevie Que has taken to the platform to express his anger over 'Bride pride' claims Nigerians use every opportunity to scam.

He wrote; Can somebody explain to me why the Africans have no class??

Why do they throw ones at people on their WEDDING they as if they are worthless strippers with no dignity ?

Please explain "He continued;" African parents sell their daughters as if they are prostitutes and call I️t a “bridal fee” or someother dumb poo just to get married...

smh why am I paying the parents to marry their daughter? this is sick""Africans are known for scamming & finessing but this is just sick...

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports. Former WBA world super-middleweight champion, George Groves retires from boxing at the age of 30

Former WBA world super-middleweight champion,  George Groves  has announced his retirement from boxing four months after losing his WBA belt to fellow Briton Callum Smith. 30-year old Groves, who became world champion at the fourth attempt when he beat Russia’s  Fedor Chudinov  in Sheffield in 2017, said he wanted to go out at the top.   “I don’t want there to be a time where I’m ‘too old’ to box on, or where an injury retires me in or out of the ring,” he said in a statement on his Instagram account. In his fight prior to the Chudinov bout Groves beat  Eduard Gutknecht , the German suffered a serious brain injury that left him in a coma and unable to fight again. Groves offered a “prayer” for Gutknecht.  “He was put into an induced coma for three weeks and bravely fought his way back to consciousness. An airbase housing US and coalition troops in Iraq has been hit by rockets, according to US security sources. The Al-Asad base was reportedly hit by multiple rockets. It is unclear if there have been any casualties. It come after top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad on Friday, on the orders of US President Donald Trump. NSE market capitalisation rises by N29bn ON NOVEMBER 7, 2017The market capitalisation of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by N29 billion on Tuesday following rekindled investors’ confidence. Newsmen report that the market capitalisation rose by N29 billion or 0.23 per cent to close at N12.810 trillion from N12.781 trillion recorded on Monday. Also, the All-share index grew by 82.74 basis points to 37, 013.57 from 36, 930.83 achieved on monday. In all, Investors traded 305.171 million shares worth N2.905 billion in 4399 deals, against 466.522 million shares worth N2.90 billion exchanged in 4, 274 deals on Monday. Total Nigeria led onprice gainers’ chart, appreciating by N5 to close at N229 per share, while Dangote Cement followed with a gain of N2 to close at N229 per share.
