Twitter user, Stevie Que has taken to the platform to express his anger over 'Bride pride' claims Nigerians use every opportunity to scam.

He wrote; Can somebody explain to me why the Africans have no class??

Why do they throw ones at people on their WEDDING they as if they are worthless strippers with no dignity ?

Please explain "He continued;" African parents sell their daughters as if they are prostitutes and call I️t a “bridal fee” or someother dumb poo just to get married...

smh why am I paying the parents to marry their daughter? this is sick""Africans are known for scamming & finessing but this is just sick...

 can people be in love IN PEACE without you scamming for once.. I’m not paying nobody parents to marry their daughter.. they better be grateful somebody even wants to marry her"

‘Gift’ to Obasanjo: Atiku’s son-in-law charged afresh with money laundering

Abdullahi Babalele, son-in-law of Atiku Abubakar was docked today on a new charge of laundering $140,000. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission who brought him before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, did not state the recipient of the money, but it fits the N50million gift sent by Atiku to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, days before the election. Babalele faces a two-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of $140,000.00. He allegedly persuaded one Bashir Mohammed, a Bureau De Change( BDC) operator, to make a cash payment of the sum of $140,000 without going through any financial institution, an offence contrary to Section 18(c) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under Section 16(2)(b) of the same Act. Zimbabweans Drown While ‘Having Sex In River’ On New Year, Family Blames Mermaid

Two lovers reportedly drowned while ‘having sex in a river’ to celebrate the new year, and their family have blamed it all on a mermaid. The two lovers identified as Charmaine Nyakata (21) and 17-year-old Munashe Nedziva, were allegedly having sex in Mayambura River near Prince Charles Dam in Seke, Zimbabwe, when the incident occurred. While some believed that the man drowned while attempting to save his lover from drowning, the Unclad bodies of the lovers where retrieved by police sub-aqua divers and the clothes of the lovers were found on the edge of the dam placed on stones. South Africa’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Monroe, has denied reports of Xenophobic attacks in his country. Monroe denied that the attacks in South Africa are xenophobic and targetted at Nigerians. The Commissioner made the comments at a media briefing with Nigeria’s foreign affairs ministry headed by Geoffery Onyeama. Lady Caught Stealing After Drugging Man Who Took Her Home From Club (Photos)

Men have been warned to be careful of the ladies they take home from nightclubs or bars following an incident which has gone viral on social media. According to reports, a lady in a bid to rob a man who took her to his home, allegedly drugged him after a drinking spree. It was gathered that the yet-to-be identified lady was already stealing his household items after the man passed out but was caught by the neighbors who saw her in action. The lady was apprehended by the neighbors but rescued by the police who prevented her from being lynched, according to reports. The drugged man had to be dragged out of his home by the neighbors after the lady had been arrested. Facebook user Sandra John shared the video of the incident but didn't give the exact location where it happened.
