German police have arrested a suspected gunman nicknamed "Rambo" after a five-day manhunt in the Black Forest. Yves Rausch, 31, is said to have fled into the forest near Oppenau, in south-west Germany, on Sunday after threatening four police officers and taking their pistols. An elite unit, helicopters, thermal detectors and sniffer dogs had been deployed to find him. After his arrest, officers seized four firearms, according to a statement. A postal worker gave police information which helped lead to his arrest and one person was injured during the operation, Germany's Bild daily is reporting. Britain, the United States and Canada accused Russian hackers on Thursday of trying to steal information from researchers seeking a coronavirus vaccine, warning scientists and pharmaceutical companies to be alert for suspicious activity. Wife of the President, Dr. Aisha Buhari has reacted to the claims by singer Timi Dakolo that “some strange men” made attempts to invade his residence. Igbere TV reports that Dakolo, earlier today, took to his Instagram account to raise an alarm over a strange bus that parked in front of his house. According to Dakolo, the occupants of the bus were armed with guns. The singer posted a photo of the bus – a Toyota Hiace bus — with registration number Lagos BR932KSF. Woman Kills Her Husband By Squeezing His Manhood In Edo State

Men of the Edo State Police Command have arrested a middle-aged woman identified as Eki Ekhator for allegedly killing her husband by squeezing his manhood. The incident was said to have happened at Ukhiri community in Ikpoba-Okha local government area. Sources said the woman had a quarrel with her late husband after accusing him of infidelity. She was said to have always had fracas with her husband any time he returned home late. On that fateful day, the source said the deceased slapped his wife after a fracas and the woman went for his trousers and held onto his manhood in a violent manner. The man was said to have collapsed and later confirmed dead at the hospital. It was learnt that men of the Homicide department in the Edo state police command are currently investigating the murder. Sources at the police headquarters said the suspect has blamed the incident on the devil. Police spokesman, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, could not be reached for comments.
