155.6Billion Museum With Roof Made Of 76,000 Panels Opens In Qatar(Pics)

It took almost a decade to build, was finished three years late and cost £330million ($434 million) - but Qatar's vast national museum is finally open.

It resembles a cluster of flying saucers, though its design was actually inspired by a desert rose. 

The new National Museum of Qatar, which was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, features a multi-curved flying saucer style roof.
