155.6Billion Museum With Roof Made Of 76,000 Panels Opens In Qatar(Pics)

It took almost a decade to build, was finished three years late and cost £330million ($434 million) - but Qatar's vast national museum is finally open.

 It resembles a cluster of flying saucers, though its design was actually inspired by a desert rose. 

 The new National Museum of Qatar, which was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, features a multi-curved flying saucer style roof.

Former WBA world super-middleweight champion,  George Groves  has announced his retirement from boxing four months after losing his WBA belt to fellow Briton Callum Smith. 30-year old Groves, who became world champion at the fourth attempt when he beat Russia’s  Fedor Chudinov  in Sheffield in 2017, said he wanted to go out at the top.   “I don’t want there to be a time where I’m ‘too old’ to box on, or where an injury retires me in or out of the ring,” he said in a statement on his Instagram account. In his fight prior to the Chudinov bout Groves beat  Eduard Gutknecht , the German suffered a serious brain injury that left him in a coma and unable to fight again. U.S.A will target 52 Iranian sites if Iran attacks Americans, Trump warns

President Donald Trump has warned Tehran that the U.S. will target 52 Iranian sites if Iran attacks Americans in the wake of the killing of a top Iranian general. “Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago),” Trump tweeted Saturday. He described some of those targets as being “at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture.” The purported targets, Trump added, “WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!” Top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Baghdad in what the Pentagon called a “defensive action.” The strike was ordered by Trump, who justified the move by saying that Soleimani “was plotting to kill many more” Americans. US Airbase In Iraq Hit By Rockets from Iran

An airbase housing US and coalition troops in Iraq has been hit by rockets, according to US security sources. The Al-Asad base was reportedly hit by multiple rockets. It is unclear if there have been any casualties. It come after top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad on Friday, on the orders of US President Donald Trump. NSE market capitalisation rises by N29bn ON NOVEMBER 7, 2017The market capitalisation of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by N29 billion on Tuesday following rekindled investors’ confidence. Newsmen report that the market capitalisation rose by N29 billion or 0.23 per cent to close at N12.810 trillion from N12.781 trillion recorded on Monday. Also, the All-share index grew by 82.74 basis points to 37, 013.57 from 36, 930.83 achieved on monday. In all, Investors traded 305.171 million shares worth N2.905 billion in 4399 deals, against 466.522 million shares worth N2.90 billion exchanged in 4, 274 deals on Monday. Total Nigeria led onprice gainers’ chart, appreciating by N5 to close at N229 per share, while Dangote Cement followed with a gain of N2 to close at N229 per share.
