What does sexual consent mean to you?

Some Nigerians have been arguing on sexual consent 'No is No' on Twitter for over one week now. This discussion arose over series of rape cases and rape accusations.

Then this young man shared a video of a lady rocking a man seductively at the club while the man touched her anyhow.

He wrote:

"Even if she lets you do this at the club and she says no when yall get home.

No is No...okay?

This consent matter must enter una head."

Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported. A newlywed couple have become the couple with the most short-lived marriage after they divorced just 3 minutes after getting married. Only seconds after they signed their marriage contract in a courthouse, the wife tripped and the groom called his new wife 'stupid' for tripping over. In tears, the bride demanded an annulment. Supreme Court affirms interim forfeiture of another N2.4bn linked to Patience Jonathan Published March 15, 2019 Ade Adesomoju, Abuja The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed another order of interim forfeiture made by the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court in respect of the sum of N2.4bn allegedly traced to the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan.
