N1.3bn fraud: Obanikoro to testify against Fayose in court

According to this tweet by Ayo Fayose, former Minister of State for Defense, Musiliu Obanikoro, will be one of the witnesses the EFCC will be presenting when he is charged to court.

Fayose was invited by the anti-graft agency over allegations that he gave N1.3 billion to Obanikoro to rig the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti state. The money was allegedly released from the office of former National Security Officer, Namadi Sambo, and is part of the $2.1 billion arms procurement fund allegedly wasted by the former administration.

20 year old Instagram model, Sinead McNamara dies in a Mexican billionaire’s yacht in Greece

Police have commenced Investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of popular Australian Instagram model  Sinead McNamara , after her body was discovered on Friday aboard a super yacht owned by a Mexican billionaire on a Greek Island.   The 20-year-old model was found unconscious around 2 a.m. Friday on the back of the Mayan Queen IV in the Greek port of Argostoli in Kefalonia. The doctor on the yacht and port authority officials attempted to revive her as a helicopter arrived at the scene to transport her to a hospital but she died while heading to the hospital. Operatives of the Department of State Services on Friday morning disrupted the ongoing trial of activists Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, attempting to rearrest the two men, who were only released from its detention on Thursday evening. The DSS operatives also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu while also brutalising a journalist with a popular television station.
