A Nigerian lady reportedly lost a job after being photoshopped on a naked body in a tweet which went viral. 

The photos was attached to a tweet describing how Marlians will be turning up for Naira Marley's concert which was held last night.

Commenting on the aftermath of the viral photo, Media personality Kimani disclosed that the lady lost the gig because she was blacklisted by the company that wanted to hire her. 

She tweeted; 

This is rather unfair, knowing this was Photoshopped. Sent this lady's handle to a client yesterday morning only to receive an email just now saying she's been blacklisted. Just coming here now to see this must have been the reason she lost the gig.

Kimani also served an update on the action she took. She revealed that she sent in the real photo as an evidence to overturn the blacklisting.

An American woman in Zimbabwe has been jailed for 'insulting' President Robert Mugabe by allegedly tweeting an image of him which suggested he has a catheter from an anonymous account which was still active as she languished behind bars on Saturday. Martha O'Donovan, 25, was arrested on Friday morning at her home near Harare, the country'scapital, and was taken into custody on a charge of insulting or undermining the president and trying to overthrow an elected government.Police say that on October 11, O'Donovan tweeted that Mugabe, 93, is a 'very selfish and sick man' and claimed that he was surviving on a catheter. They claim they traced the anonymous Twitter account @matigary, which allegedly posted thetweet, to her address through its IP address.On Saturday, O'Donovan was held in custody after a brief court hearing and she must now wait until November 15 to return to court.Her lawyers say they will appeal for her to be granted bail at the High Co...

ASUU Strike: What Led To The Walkout Of The Union Members During The Meeting

Representatives of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Monday staged a walkout from a meeting with a federal government delegation. The government delegation was led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige. Despite the walkout, Mr Ngige expressed optimism that the strike would soon be called off. The university lecturers embarked on an indefinite strike on November 4, demanding improved funding of universities and implementation of previous agreements with the government. The National President of ASUU, Biodun Ogunyemi, led the union’s delegation to Monday’s meeting. The ASUU delegation arrived at the ministry at exactly 5:00 p.m. but no member of the federal government delegation was around as at this time.
