Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has identified the late former military Head of State, Sani Abacha, as the biggest thief in world history, stating that 21-years after, more loots linked to the former dictator were still being uncovered. Omokri was responding to the claim by Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, that Northerners are rarely arrested for advance fee fraud, popularly known in local parlance as Yahoo Yahoo. 21-year-old Indian television actress commits suicide after a failed relationship

Popular Telugu TV actress, Naga Jhansi committed suicide at her residence in Hyderabad by hanging herself on Wednesday. The 21-year old actress is said to have taken such an extreme step after a failed relationship with her boyfriend Surya aka Nani. Jhansi and Nani are said to have been in a relationship for a while now but Nani's parents were against their relationship. They were unhappy with him planning to get married to Jhansi and this did not go down well with her. Police officials reached her residence after they were informed by neighbours of the actress' death. Officials shifted her body to Gandhi Hospital and have started investigating the case. Reportedly, police officials are waiting for the post-mortem report and will begin their investigation after that. Jhansi is known for her role in popular Telugu daily soap Pavitra Bandham. Famous Mexican drug lord,  Joaquin  "El Chapo"  Guzman  has been found guilty on all counts against him and is expected to spend the rest of his life in a US jail  El Chapo who escaped from prison twice, made his first successful attempt in 2001 and broke out of a Mexican jail by hiding in a laundry bin. Then, in 2014, he fled jail through a mile-long lighted tunnel which his associates had fitted with a motorcycle on rails. He was arrested again in 2016 and extradited to the US the following year. On Tuesday, Guzman was convicted of running a criminal enterprise that amassed him a $14 billion (£11 billion) fortune. He ran the Sinaloa cartel, becoming the world's most notorious drug baron since Pablo Escobar, the Colombian who was shot dead in 1993. Indian Man To Die By Hanging For Destroying 4-yr-old Girl's Intestine Via Rape

A teacher has been sentenced to death by hanging for raping a four-year-old student so badly that she had to have her intestines realigned. Mahendra Singh Gond is due to be hanged next month after he raped the child on June 30 last year in India's Madhya Pradesh district. He raped the girl so badly that he rearranged her insides, then he dumped her body in a jungle area, assuming she was dead. A desperate search was launched, before the girl's family found her with agonising injuries and rushed her to hospital. Her injuries were so severe that she had to be airlifted to a Delhi hospital where she had an operation to realign her intestines, reports Times Now News. Gond was arrested within hours of the horrific attack and he was convicted after the girl made a statement during her recovery. Gond was sentenced to capital punishment on September 19 last year. South Africa’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Monroe, has denied reports of Xenophobic attacks in his country. Monroe denied that the attacks in South Africa are xenophobic and targetted at Nigerians.
