Santa lookalike robs bank, shouts ‘Merry Christmas’ as he throws stolen money in the air



 David Wayne Oliver, pictured in police mug shots with gray-and-white hair and a full white beard, is being held at the El Paso County jail and is set to make his first court appearance on Thursday, jail records showed.

A man who dressed as Santa Claus decided to rob a bank and threw the stolen cash in the air while shouting ‘Merry Christmas’ at passersby, according to police.

David Wayne Oliver, 65, was arrested at a Starbucks coffee shop after he held up the Academy Bank in Colorado Springs on Monday afternoon, according to a police report.

He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
Police said the suspect had ‘threatened the use of a weapon’ and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Colorado Springs television station KKTV reported that eyewitness Dion Pascale recounted Oliver stepped outside the bank and tossed the money ‘all over the place’.

‘He started throwing money out of the bag’ before yelling, ‘Merry Christmas’, the TV station quoted Pascale as saying.

The General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, Dr Daniel Olukoya, has filed a N10 billion libel suit against the Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters Incorporated and the Incorporated Trustees of Sahara Media Foundation, demanding N10bn in damages for their failure to desist from publishing false and malicious articles against him and his church, MFM, since 2013. Nigerian Cocaine Dealer Arrested In Bangkok

Thai police working with the US Drug Enforcement agency have arrested a Nigerian man who they say is an international drug dealer in cocaine. Emmanuel Okwudili Ilichukwu was arrested in Suksawat Soi 26 on two warrants on Thursday, February 22.A force led by deputy tourist police commissioner Surachet Hakpal raided his property where they found a quantity of ganja in a food cupboard. Surachet told the media that the Thais had been working with the DEA to arrest the Nigerian. He had been on their radar but managed to avoid capture before.He had made frequent trips from Bangkok to Nigeria and was involved in packaging cocainein plastic and hiding it in electrical appliances. The drugs found their way to Australia and New Zealand. He was using Bangkok as a base and also dealing drugs in the Thai capital.
