The 2019 Geneva International Motor Show started on the 7th of March and will be concluded on the 17th day of March. It is an avenue where the various auto companies present what they have on their drawing boards.

Our very own billionaire graced the show in Switzerland. He has the opportunity of feasting his eyes with the new Fiat CentoVenti concept; the box-fresh Ferrari F8 Tributo; the world’s most expensive new car (Bugatti La Voiture Noire);Honda’s first electric car; stunning 1800bhp Pininfarina Battista hypercar and lots more.

He is pictured around the KLASSEN Maybach with two men we don’t know their identity.

It resembles a cluster of flying saucers, though its design was actually inspired by a desert rose.  The new National Museum of Qatar, which was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, features a multi-curved flying saucer style roof.

Former WBA world super-middleweight champion, George Groves retires from boxing at the age of 30

Former WBA world super-middleweight champion,  George Groves  has announced his retirement from boxing four months after losing his WBA belt to fellow Briton Callum Smith. 30-year old Groves, who became world champion at the fourth attempt when he beat Russia’s  Fedor Chudinov  in Sheffield in 2017, said he wanted to go out at the top.   “I don’t want there to be a time where I’m ‘too old’ to box on, or where an injury retires me in or out of the ring,” he said in a statement on his Instagram account. In his fight prior to the Chudinov bout Groves beat  Eduard Gutknecht , the German suffered a serious brain injury that left him in a coma and unable to fight again. Groves offered a “prayer” for Gutknecht.  “He was put into an induced coma for three weeks and bravely fought his way back to consciousness. Man Lures 16-Year-Old Girl From Facebook To Benin Hotel, Kidnaps And Rapes Her

A suspect identified as Vincent Idumonyi, was apprehended by police operatives after abducting and raping a 16-year-old secondary school girl in Benin city, Edo state. It was gathered that the suspect met his victim on Facebook where she released her phone number to him after they became friends. After a month of chatting, the suspect arranged to meet with the girl in a hotel in the town where he kidnapped her for three days. He threatened to inject her with a deadly substance if she raised an alarm, a situation which led to her being raped by the suspect. Vincent then contacted the girl's family to demand for some money before her release. The family eventually parted ways with N382,000. The victim herself revealed that the suspect who threatened her also with a knife, had sex with her twice in the hotel.

US appears to back Zimbabwe coup as top official says it wants a "new era"

The United states appears to have thrown its weight behind the military coup which brought Robert Mugabe's 37 year reign to an end. In an interview with Reuters, acting Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Donald Yamamoto said: "It's a transition to a new era for Zimbabwe, that's really what we're hoping for."93-year old Mugabe has not resigned or been formally deposed but Yamamoto appeared to dismiss the idea of Mugabe remaining in a transitional or ceremonial role. South Africa’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Monroe, has denied reports of Xenophobic attacks in his country. Monroe denied that the attacks in South Africa are xenophobic and targetted at Nigerians. The Commissioner made the comments at a media briefing with Nigeria’s foreign affairs ministry headed by Geoffery Onyeama.
