A man was beaten mercilessly and left injured for allegedly sleeping with another man's wife. Facebook user, Fortune Eshio Chaba, who lives in Lagos took the the platform to share pictures of the man and his swollen black eye after the serious beating.

He wrote; They beat him black, red and black for sleeping with another person's wife! Stay away from people's wives!

At least 100 people have been arrested and 80 injured as French police clashed with fuel tax protesters Saturday in Paris.   Thousands of people gathered at the Champs-Élysées in the third weekend of protests against the government over rising fuel prices and taxes. At Paris’ famous monument on the western end of the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, riot police fired tear gas and a water cannon to displace the crowd.   Some protesters had lit fires, thrown rocks and sprayed police officers with yellow paint earlier Saturday morning in an effort to breach the barricades blocking a route to the Elysee Palace, President Emmanuel Macron‘s official residence. Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, has fired yet another shot at former President Goodluck Jonathan. This comes less than a week after the minister said the time to stop blaming Jonathan had come. Speaking with NAN in Lagos, Amaechi said former President Olusegun Obasanjo left $65 billion in the excess crude account but it was frittered away. WHAT IS EXCESS CRUDE ACCOUNT?
