 He asked his followers; “Which one kills a man faster…poverty or Bad wife?”.. Of course there were several opinions on his Instagram page, but then, we spotted that of Mercy Aigbe’s ex-husband, Lanre Gentry..

Gentry stated that “Bad wife,” but admitted that “Poverty is not good too.”

Agents with U.S. Customs and the Drug Enforcement Administration have seized $18 million dollars’ worth of cocaine disguised as banana heading to a prison in Texas.   According to reports, the Wayne Scott Unit Prison Farm outside of Freeport, Texas, received a couple pallets of bananas as a donation. An American woman in Zimbabwe has been jailed for 'insulting' President Robert Mugabe by allegedly tweeting an image of him which suggested he has a catheter from an anonymous account which was still active as she languished behind bars on Saturday. Martha O'Donovan, 25, was arrested on Friday morning at her home near Harare, the country'scapital, and was taken into custody on a charge of insulting or undermining the president and trying to overthrow an elected government.Police say that on October 11, O'Donovan tweeted that Mugabe, 93, is a 'very selfish and sick man' and claimed that he was surviving on a catheter. Italy arrests Libyan, Egyptian over death of 26 Nigerian women Two men, one of them an Egyptian and the other a Libyan, have been arrested and charged in Italy as investigators look into the deaths of 26 Nigerian women and girls, who are suspected to have been murdered while attempting to cross the Mediterranean. The bodies of the women were brought to the southern Italian port of Salerno by the Spanish ship Cantabria on Sunday, and prosecutors opened an investigation over suspicions that the women, some as young as 14, may have been abused and killed. The bodies were recovered by Cantabria, which works as part of the EU’s Sophia anti-trafficking operation, from two separate shipwrecks – 23 from one and three from the other. The organisers of the planned academic conference on witchcraft planned for Nsukka next week are looking for another venue after the University of Nigeria withdrew the approval for the use of its Energy Centre. The director of the centre wrote conference organisers withdrawing the approval, amidst the opposition by Christian students and the Christian Association of Nigeria against the conference. The conference, initially scheduled for 28-31 October is the brainchild of the B.I.C Ijomah Centre for Policy and Research and is expected to hold between November 26 and November 27. FIFA bans three former presidents for life as part of crackdown on corruption

The ethics committee of World football governing body, (FIFA) has placed a lifetime ban on former presidents of the Guam, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan football associations for corruption. Ex-Guam FA boss Richard Lai, a former Asian Football Confederation(AFC) official, and FIFA committee member, pleaded guilty to fraud in the United States after an investigation into his case was opened in April. Lai was banned from all football-related activities alongside, a formerVenezuelan FA chief Rafael Esquiveland ex-Nicaraguan FA president Julio Rocha who both also pleaded guilty in the United States to separate federal charges ranging from wire fraud to racketeering and money laundering. Meanwhile, three more ex-South American football bosses, Peru's Manuel Burga, Brazilian Jose Maria Marin and Juan Angel Napout of Paraguay are also on trial in New York. A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours.
