Cashier with photographic memory memorizes 1,300 credit cards and goes on shopping spree (Photo)

A cashier with a photographic memory has been arrested for memorizing 1,300 credit cards and going on a shopping spree.

Yusuke Taniguchi, 34, who was recently arrested, committed the crime while he was working at a mall in Koto City in Tokyo. 

Japan Today reports that Taniguchi used the credit card information to finance his basic living expenses and purchase luxury items online.

Police were tipped off after Taniguchi purchased an expensive pair of shoulder bags totaling over $2,500, and had the bags delivered to his apartment.

According to Police, whenever a customer would pay by credit card, the suspect allegedly memorized their 16-digit-number, name, expiry date, and security code, all in the time it took to process their purchase.

During a search at his apartment , Police said they found a notebook containing the hundreds of names and numbers and are currently linking them to past incidents to determine the scope of his alleged crimes.

It was also reported that Mr. Yusuke was using an apparent eidetic memory often called a “photographic memory” to memorize people's information on their credit cards.

American multinational company, Stericycle Inc., recently hoisted the Nigerian flag in honour of a hardworking new employee, Mrs Omolanke Shelle. Kehinde Olatubosun, 56, from Ibadan, Oyo State, was arrested on Saturday night along with 18 other drug addicts at a joint in Ipodo, Ikeja. Rapper Cassidy arrested for drug possession and outstanding warrants

Philadelphia rapper, Cassidy was on Sunday afternoon arrested for weed possession and outstanding warrants. The 35-year-old 'I'm A Hustler' rapper was busted in Jersey City when police spotted him in a vehicle, and noticed a strong marijuana smell from inside the car, TMZ reported According to a police report, officers discovered there was a joint sitting in clear view on the dashboard. They also found a baggie of weed and a grinder, typically used to crush weed.Cassidy was booked for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The Law enforcement also revealed that they discovered that Cassidy has an outstanding warrant in another county for the exact same offenses.
