The "English Premier League" is currently trending on Twitter and this is after Ramon Olorunwa Abbas a.k.a. “Ray Hushpuppi” was accused of conspiring to steal £100 million from a club in the UK.    The Federal prosecutors who filed a criminal complaint on June 25, alleged that Hushpuppi is "one of the leaders of a transnational network that facilitates computer intrusions, fraudulent schemes (including BEC schemes), and money laundering, targeting victims around the world in schemes designed to steal hundreds of millions of dollars".    In a statement released by the US Department of Justice, the suspected Nigerian fraudster was accused of conspiring to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from other fraudulent schemes and computer intrusions, including one scheme to steal £100 million (approximately $124 million) from an English Premier League soccer club.   The suspected Nigerian fraudster who was recently extradited from Dubai to the United States made his...

Barcelona icon, Xavi has reportedly agreed to replace Quique Setien as the new manager of the Spanish giants.    Setien, 61, has been under intense pressure since replacing Ernesto Valverde in January, and there are speculations that the club's board have already decided to sack him in order to pave the way for Xavi.    According to Mundo Deportivo, a "firm agreement" has been finalized and it would see Barcelona pay Xavi, 40, a bumper £5.4million per year. He is expected to take up the reins at the end of the season.      The legendary Spanish midfielder, who joined the club at the age of 11, made 767 first-team appearances for Barcelona, scoring 85 goals with 182 assists. He also won eight league titles, four Champions Leagues and three Copas del Rey, as well as two Club World Cups.

The bureau took to its Twitter handle to solicit help in finding the six men who are wanted for “their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses”. “Help the #FBI find ​six Nigerian nationals wanted for their involvement in ​business​ email ​compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 ​million in losses,” it wrote. At least 20 Indian soldiers have died after a "violent face-off" with Chinese troops along the countries' de facto border in the Himalayas late Monday, the Indian army has said. The incident occurred during a "deescalation process" underway in the Galwan Valley in the disputed Aksai Chin-Ladakh area, where a large troop build-up has reportedly been taking place for weeks now on both sides of the border, before senior military commanders began talks earlier this month. The Indian army had earlier said three soldiers had died, but added on Tuesday that a further 17 troops "who were critically injured in the line of duty at the standoff location and exposed to sub-zero temperatures in the high altitude terrain have succumbed to their injuries." Tensions between China and the UK continue to mount over plans for a new security law in Hong Kong, after Boris Johnson said he would allow Hong Kong residents citizenship in response to China's recent crack down Beijing has warned they will "strike back" against the UK as tensions continue to mount over a new security law. The law, in China, will alter Hong Kong's mini-constitution, or Basic Law, to require its government to enforce measures to be decided later by Chinese leaders. China's ceremonial legislature, the National People's Congress, endorsed a security law for Hong Kong earlier this week that has strained relations with the UK and the US.
