40 U.S. Doctors Operate On 1-Week-Old Baby With Huge Growth On Her Neck(Pics)

A baby born with a football-sized cyst on her neck is finally going home after a team of 40 doctors removed the growth from her neck in a gruelling operation.

Parents feared the worst when little Bella-Rose Burress was delivered with a growth that was twice the size of her own head.

But the one-week-old child has made a full recovery after the meticulous operation in Chicago, Illinois, was successful on August 27.

Doctors diagnosed Bella-Rose with cystic hygroma - a collection of fluid-filled sacs - at Ms Pilarski's 20-week scan.

At that time the growth measured 6cm but more than doubled to 13cm by the time she was born.


A team of 40 doctors battle to cut the cyst from Bella-Rose's neck after her birth last week.


Daniel comforts Ms Pilarski as she went into labour knowing that their baby girl would be born with a giant cyst.

Little Bella-Rose clutches her mother's finger after the gruelling surgery.

Bella-Rose's parents are now gearing up to take the child home as she makes a full recovery in hospital.

20 year old Instagram model, Sinead McNamara dies in a Mexican billionaire’s yacht in Greece

Police have commenced Investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of popular Australian Instagram model  Sinead McNamara , after her body was discovered on Friday aboard a super yacht owned by a Mexican billionaire on a Greek Island.   The 20-year-old model was found unconscious around 2 a.m. Friday on the back of the Mayan Queen IV in the Greek port of Argostoli in Kefalonia. The doctor on the yacht and port authority officials attempted to revive her as a helicopter arrived at the scene to transport her to a hospital but she died while heading to the hospital. Operatives of the Department of State Services on Friday morning disrupted the ongoing trial of activists Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, attempting to rearrest the two men, who were only released from its detention on Thursday evening. Kano State Hisbah Board has launched a manhunt on a couple who reportedly got married through Facebook, BBC Hausa has reported.
