Canada Government sends message to Igbos living in the country

The Canadian government has sent a powerful message to the members of the Igbo community in the country.

Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Honourable Ralph Goodale, wrote to the Cultural Association of Saskatchewan (ICAS) as they prepare to celebrate their Nigerian-Canadian heritage on August 3.

Writing on behalf of Prime Minister Trudeau and the Government of Canada, Minister Goodale expressed pleasure to extend greetings to everyone who will be attending Igbo Day.

Groom's Ex-Girlfriend Crashes His Wedding In China Wearing A Bridal Gown

An embarrassing drama occurred at a wedding in China as a spurned lover gate-crashed her ex-boyfriend's wedding to another woman wearing a bridal gown to beg him to come back to her. Serena Williams has said she is a victim of "discrimination" as she is the most drug tested American tennis player.   The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion made the claim in a series of tweets on Tuesday, after doping officials visited her.  Serena had previously expressed frustration about the volume of her tests earlier this month.  "Out of all the players it's been proven I'm the one getting tested the most. Discrimination? I think so,"  she said. An article published by website Deadspin in June revealed that Williams had been tested out of competition by the US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) on five occasions in 2018. It also claimed the player was not present when Usada officials visited her home on 14 June - Williams stated that the tester showed up 12 hours earlier than the agreed time. A Clinical Microbiologist, Dr Tony Mbume, has advised women to stop wearing tight jeans, synthetic panties and leggings, to prevent vaginal infections. According to him, most Nigerian females wear these synthetic pants, leggings and tight jeans in the name of fashion, without considering the health implications. Mbume, who works with CIAGIN Medical Laboratory, Oke-Afa, Isolo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that synthetic wears caused the vagina to ‘overheat’, which could disrupt its ecosystem. Against all odds, against the political permutations of Italian politics, Italy has elected its first black senator, a Nigerian immigrant who is a member of the country’s far-right, anti-immigrant League party. Toni Iwobi, the head of the party’s immigration department, was elected on Sunday (March 4) in Brescia, an industrial city in northern Italy. His election didn’t go down well with some people who slammed his choice to work against his own fellow immigrants.
