Lagos Chinese restaurant accused of racism against Nigerians

Nigerian man identified as Otite Date and other Lagos residents has accused a Chinese restaurant of racism against Nigerians.

According to Nigerians who visits the restaurant said they were told " The restaurant is exclusive meant for Chinese native living in Nigeria and is not open to "unaccompanied Black customers".

A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours. A woman in Umuseti, Delta state slashed her sister's head with a sharp object allegedly because the younger sister refused to drop out ofschool to enable the elder sister's children get an education. According to the story shared online by Oshanor John, the sisters are from a polygamous family and from his story, it can be inferred that finances are tight in the family and only a few people can be sponsored at each time to get an education. The sister was allegedly upset that her sister wouldn't stop school so her child could go, therefore, she tried to get her sister out of the way. Luckily, the sister survived the attackthough she lost a lot of blood and is now recuperating.
