A former student of Makerere University Business School, Arthur Basalirwa, posted a screenshot from a WhatsApp chat, dedicated to a one ‘D” and it read; “Hi D. You will always ask yourself if you had sent me a more meaningful text. These are your last words to me. Goodbye D.” From the screenshots of the WhatsApp chat he shared, Basalirwa seemed to have undergone a rough breakup with his girlfriend. His friends say that he was planning his marriage, after visiting his fiance’s parents at a traditional Kukyala ceremony. Hours before that, Basalirwa posted to his Whatsapp a status note saying; “I am sorry but it’s too late, I’m sorry, too much weighing on me I don’t wanna live to see another day.” However, these cries for help went unnoticed, with only a simple ‘bambi’ as a comment from one of his friends, until hours later when others learnt about his sudden death. Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Honourable Ralph Goodale, wrote to the Cultural Association of Saskatchewan (ICAS) as they prepare to celebrate their Nigerian-Canadian heritage on August 3. The man cheated death after he was stabbed multiple times by armed robbers in Anambra state. The victim was robbed and stabbed while going to work this morning at UNIZIK junction in Temp site, Awka, Anambra state. He was rushed to the hospital where he is currently responding to treatment. A man's penis snapped while having sex with his girlfriend and it made his male member swell to the size of a wine bottle. Sean Marsden, 48, was injured while making love to his girlfriend Louise Gray, 36. He says he heard a ‘crack’ after he slipped into the pelvis of his girlfriend. This left him writhing in pain that was ‘off the scale’. Sean knew instantly something was wrong and they dialled 999. He was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where doctors gave him morphine to dull the pain. Doctors carried out a ‘penile exploration’ and told him he had damaged muscles before discharging him the next day with a temporary catheter, pain killers, a plastic rod along his shaft and his penis wrapped in bandages.
