Cody Coots; the son of a pastor who was killed by snake during sermon also gets bitten by a deadly snake while preaching

US pastor, Cody Coots was bitten by a snake while giving a sermon and required emergency medical intervention to save his life.
Coots’ father, late Jamie Coots, was bitten by a snake and died after he asked that his fate be left up to God’s will. The Metro reports that Cody asked the same of his congregation. He told them if he is bitten, they should take him to the mountaintop for the Lord to decide whether he lives or dies.
However, a member of his congregation named Big Cody, defied him and sought medical attention. “Most people bit in the face are dead in five, ten minutes. I mean, his own daddy got bit in the hand and within seven minutes was dead” he said.

Big Cody says he still remembers when Jamie Coots, the pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus’ Name church in Middlesboro, Kentucky, died at age 42 after being bitten. The church is compelled by the Bible verse, Mark 16:18: “They will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them.”
Cody Coots says after this experience, he’s going to rethink the practice of snake handling in his religious services.

Cops Who Killed Osaze Osagie, Nigerian Student In US, Cleared Of Charges

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports. Osagie died of multiple gunshot wounds after the confrontation at his apartment on Old Boalsburg Road. A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. A man was seriously humiliated after he was caught having sex with a married woman. According to reports, the duo were caught while romping in an uncompleted building. At least 100 people have been arrested and 80 injured as French police clashed with fuel tax protesters Saturday in Paris.   Thousands of people gathered at the Champs-Élysées in the third weekend of protests against the government over rising fuel prices and taxes. At Paris’ famous monument on the western end of the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, riot police fired tear gas and a water cannon to displace the crowd.   Some protesters had lit fires, thrown rocks and sprayed police officers with yellow paint earlier Saturday morning in an effort to breach the barricades blocking a route to the Elysee Palace, President Emmanuel Macron‘s official residence.
