Cody Coots; the son of a pastor who was killed by snake during sermon also gets bitten by a deadly snake while preaching

US pastor, Cody Coots was bitten by a snake while giving a sermon and required emergency medical intervention to save his life.
Coots’ father, late Jamie Coots, was bitten by a snake and died after he asked that his fate be left up to God’s will. The Metro reports that Cody asked the same of his congregation. He told them if he is bitten, they should take him to the mountaintop for the Lord to decide whether he lives or dies.
However, a member of his congregation named Big Cody, defied him and sought medical attention. “Most people bit in the face are dead in five, ten minutes. I mean, his own daddy got bit in the hand and within seven minutes was dead” he said.

Big Cody says he still remembers when Jamie Coots, the pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus’ Name church in Middlesboro, Kentucky, died at age 42 after being bitten. The church is compelled by the Bible verse, Mark 16:18: “They will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them.”
Cody Coots says after this experience, he’s going to rethink the practice of snake handling in his religious services.

Doctor beheaded by boyfriend after she refused to marry him

A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. He then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together, according to police. His note claimed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported. GoFundMe to refund all donations made for the "Trump Wall" campaign after falling short of its $1billion goal

The GoFundMe campaign dedicated to Americans funding the Texas border wall has been shut down after funders failed to reach the $1 billion goal set. Bobby Whithorne, director of North America Communications for GoFundMe said donors will receive their money on April 11, unless they choose to donate their contribution to the campaign creator's new venture, GoFundMe said in an email to the campaign's participants.   Brian Kolfage, a triple-amputee Air Force veteran, raised more than $20 million on the crowd-funding platform to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. At the onset of the campaign, Kolfage said he would only collect the funds if the campaign hit its goal of $1 billion about one-fifth of what President Trump has been demanding from Congress to build it.   "However, that did not happen. A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018. WgnTV Reports that Ukesone had never been on a plane before, and it was his first time flying, according to his family. His children said there was no issue on his flight from Nigeria to Dubai. But from Dubai to Chicago, there was a misunderstanding that led to their father being restrained for more than eight-hours ultimately sending him to the hospital. His family said he unknowingly sat in the wrong seat. His family said when the crew moved him, and wouldn't let him get his carry-on. They restrained him, leaving him zip tied foreight-hours.
