China's Mission To Mars 2021: Unveils Spacecraft, Vehicles And Mock Base (Pics)

China has released the first picture of a spacecraft that has been developed to reach Mars.

Beijing aims to land the explorer on the Red Planet in less than two years to celebrate the centenary of the ruling Communist Party.

A picture of the explorer, called 'Mars 1', was published today by the state-owned China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), Beijing's main space manufacturer.

The craft is seen partially covered by golden sheets while a banner at the front suggests the craft was undergoing its last tests. Four workers are seen working around the explorer.


All teams are now ready for the launch of the probe, which is scheduled to take place next year, the scientist revealed.

The General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, Dr Daniel Olukoya, has filed a N10 billion libel suit against the Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters Incorporated and the Incorporated Trustees of Sahara Media Foundation, demanding N10bn in damages for their failure to desist from publishing false and malicious articles against him and his church, MFM, since 2013. In the court papers filed before the Akwa Ibom state High court in Uyo, the senior pastor of MFM said several appeals made by him and his church for Sowore and his news platform to desist from publishing false malicious reports against them had fallen on deaf ears as the news platform has continued in its publications against his church. Supporters of Julie Briskman, who was fired from her job after she was photographed raising the middle finger to Donald Trump's motorcade, have raised more than $61,000 in a crowdfunding effort. The Kano State Police Command confirmed onSaturday that three girls died of suffocation inside a parked car in Sabon Gari area of Kano metropolis. The car has been parked there for more than one year; the girls were playing around it and later locked themselves inside. Apparently, they could not open the door and there was no one around to assist them. Three of them died of suffocation while one survived,” Magaji Majiya, spokesman of the command, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).He said that the incident happened “around 3 p.m. on Friday”. According to him, the girls were aged between two and four years.“The victim that survived has been taken to thehospital while investigation has commenced into the matter,” Mr. Majiya said.
